The best Korean Spa in LA hands down. For the most part, it’s clean and well kept. Lots of amenities. The staff are all kind for the most part. I took off a star because some areas of the spa could use an update, occasionally they’re under staffed and run out of towels, and sometimes the staff use the bathroom facilities to brush their teeth/do hygiene stuff (?). I’m turned off by the automatic 20% tip, I always tip but feel it should be at the discretion of the customer, and their staff should be paid a living wage without it (not passing this expense on to clients). I don’t bother attending during the holidays anymore because of how noisy and over-sold the facility is, but other times of the year it’s very relaxing and quiet.
First time here for a weekend getaway with my close friend. Valet parking, great customer service, friendly staff, serene and relaxing atmosphere. We're definitely adding this to our list to come back to when we're in town. Great variety of amenities from steam rooms, saunas, and ice room. Also, quiet and social areas.
Since the renovation they did during Covid the prices has increased allot but the place is very nice and I still frequent the place after the increase. However might go back to Burke William’s after today’s visit. Today was my birthday and at BW they have a birthday bath and with you HB etc. Here you get no special bday treatment :) whatsoever. And they now require a 20% gratitude bc we pay for their employees I guess ! I always tip and had cash bc I like to leave cash for them and not pay the same with a lack luster credit card, and I scribble hearts and thank you messages on the cash envelop. She came running after me outside saying I shorted the tip!!! WTH !!! So she opened and looked and said the massage lady’s tip was $2.00 short and the scrub lady feel short less that $1.00 and she said I have to either put more cash in envelops or pay the balance with a card ….i was floored and feel this is TERRIBLE bc all it is they pay their workers less than minimum vage and our tip supplies their salary- NOT OK as the tip should be EXTRA money for the workers ! After this I’m so turned off and will def go back to Burke Williams where they treat their customers with more class….
Been to several spas big and small always looking for comfort and new services Olympic checks the mark. Loved the ice sauna, snack bar, and shower area all very nice. Didn't like that massage services are in the same general area as hot tubs so not as quiet or private but no deal breakers. The staff was nice and all facilities were clean.
Best experience from beginning to end. This was a Christmas present in 2024. This Korean Spa is for women only. You are greeted with a valet to park your car, the cost is $3.00. You register, then they give you a quick tour. You will get a “watch” to open and lock your locker and appropriate size slippers. In the spa area, everyone is naked, getting in an out of the pools. The pools are small with a capacity for 4-6 people. There is a cold pool, a sea water and another hot like a jacuzzi. Then, there are the different saunas, the herbal one, hot stone and cold room. Immediately next to this is the area for the treatments and showers. Walking around, people wear robes the spa provide. You can bring snacks or order in and eat in the patio. They provide light snacks, hot drinks like tea and flavored water. I had the Goddess treatment. It lasted about 75 minutes. You lay down on a massage table like surface. A woman scrubs and rubs your entire body with extreme force, then rinses with water by throwing it at you, applies creams and oils, you rinse in the shower, return, scrubs some more, washes your hair and it ends with a magical face mask that leaves your face smooth and super clear. They also have individual massage rooms and a warm floor where you can lay down to take a nap. I believe you can stay in the spa for as long as you want. They provide some toiletries, but you can bring your own too.
