Stained my Bulova, odd schedules (always closed, on holiday, on a break). Do not recommend.

I went to On Time to get a battery replaced in my Swiss Army watch. I was thoroughly pleased with the professionalism of the service, as well as the price. Advice re: watch strap questions I had was provided and very helpful. I will definitely consider this my Go-to place for a watch repair. Unfortunate to hear about some of the other poor reviews; they don’t dissuade me from returning.

2 stars for service and effort. 3 stars off for complications and repeated visits 1. Went to this location to ask them to untangle a fine gold chain 2. Person at the counter was able to detangle but accidentally removed the jump ring. Sent the necklace off to be repaired at their workshop. Asked me to remove the pendant as a precaution. 3. Necklace comes back but can’t put pendant back on because both ends of the necklace with clasp components are too wide for the pendant to be slipped back on. Staff at the counter are somehow able to get pendant on. 4. Wore the necklace out the next week and look down and see that it has become unclasped and is now sliding down my neck. Jump ring seems to have come off while simply just wearing it. 5. Go back and get a free repair. 6. Note- They also repaired another necklace I have and that seems to be holding up well. 7. I wore the originally tangled and untangled necklace that needed yet another repair shortly after receiving it and guess what- the jump ring that was soldered on to the necklace and clasped shut on my neck simply came apart from the necklace and os now securely attached in the clasp. So I went for one issue and have now emerged with a different bigger issue that they caused.Needless to say after 3 visits I don’t think I’ll be going back there. They have good customer service and will not charge you for their mistakes but after multiple visits I’ll need to take my necklace elsewhere to pay to fix an issue they’ve caused.

Avoid if you care about your watch. Brought my G-Shock watch for battery replacement, the guy said it will be ready in 45 minuets and after I picked up the watch, on my receipt it says “No waterproof guarantee”. I asked the guy and he said he broke the seal and it is no longer water resistant and this is common practice and I should have known this and he was rude IMO. This should have been clearly communicated before accepting the job. No apologies and no refund offered. What is the point of having a G-Shock that’s not water resistant anymore?! That’s why I brought it to the store to change the battery.
