Kim was very nice and she did a nice job. I would go back/recommend. Second visit was even better than the first. Love this colour. Once again Kim was very nice - even with the slight language barrier we figured things out just fine. Merci beaucoup Kim!

In response to the owner: Thank you for the reply and for offering a solution to esthetically improve the damage. I looked for many nail technicians advice online, and popping the acrylic nail off is never suggested, even if the acrylic is lifting. The dry skin and nails resulting from soaking in acetone can be treated with lotion and cuticle oil. However, the ripped layers from my natural nails cannot be reverted. That's why I felt it was important to show the results from the removal. Thanks I went to Ongles Jenny Spa to get my FIRST set ever of acrylic nails, in preparation for a summer vacation. The staff was friendly and diligent, I liked how the nails turned out, and they held the full 2 weeks I was on vacation. On my return I booked an appointment for removing the acrylic nails and that's where the issues appeared. To remove the nails, the technician filed down the corners, instered a nail extention between my natural nail and the acrylic, and ripped the acrylic nail off. It was a painful process and layers of my natural nails were ripped off as well (see pictures). I thought the nails would be soaked in acetone for removal, but because it was my first time I thought that what the technician did was OK, and that the pain was part of it. After looking and the state of my nails and doing some research online, I know that they were removed incorrectly and that the technician completely disregarded the health of my natural nails. When I went I was the only client in the salon, so I don't understand why they couldn't take the time to remove it correctly. The time and efforts I have to put now to bring my nails back to a healthy state is not worth the initial application. That's why I am giving them 3 stars.

So nice and friendly! Took a little longer than I am used to but they did a great job and my daughter and I are both happy with our matching nails! 😄 ETA: 1 week later and 5 of my biogel nails have fallen off. After 1.5h to apply them a $85, I’m very disappointed ☹️ I live out of town so can’t go back for a fix. Emailed (as per their suggestion below) 5 days ago and still no response).
