This location is very clean and comfortable. You can tell they take pride in what they do. Dr. Shelbi is the ABSOLUTE best, highly recommend her. I met her at my cycling studio where she was sharing what Onward PT was. She also did a quick cupping and movement exercise to help and prevent low back pain for me (and it worked)! Fast forward two weeks from meeting her, my son injured his hip flexor and I scheduled him to see her days after his injury. She was so patient with him and talked him through all the movements she was doing. He was moving and in very minimal pain within two weeks and is able to get back on the soccer field. I can't thank her enough! The right people are put into your life at the right time. Thank you Dr. Shelbi!
I’ve been seeing Shelbi for a few weeks now, and it’s been an amazing experience. I felt significant relief after our first session, and every session since has brought progress. She has great intuition and picks up clues about what is going on with this puzzle of a shoulder problem from seemingly small details, and explains things in an interesting way. She also is super easy to talk to, which makes it easy to spend an hour with her every week! I’d recommend her to anyone I meet who might need some PT. Thanks Shelbi! :)
I met Dakota and Cheyenne through my gym, BurnBootcamp. I had been wanting to revisit my pelvic floor dysfunction for a while, but never felt motivated until I met them. I was nervous about my first appointment, worried that my condition was worse than I thought. But, Dakota was so reassuring and encouraging during my consultation. It was such a relief to discover that my condition was not as bad as I thought and there were simple yet very effective ways to continue to strengthen my pelvic floor and core. Dakota made everything so simple and easy to understand, yet educated me in so many new ways about my body. We’ve been now working on the exercise floor and I feel stronger and more confident than ever even after just a few sessions. And not to mention she’s incredibly patient and kind to my wild two year old during my appointments. I’m so looking forward to continuing getting stronger with Onward. If you’ve been contemplating PT, I highly suggest you given them a visit today!
If you are hesitant on going PLEASE read the full thing!! I have never done physical therapy before because I have never been injured like this, and after seven months of constant pain I felt completely lost. I started PT at another clinic because they had great reviews and were mostly covered by insurance. Since I had nothing to compare it to, I assumed everything was normal. They saw multiple patients at once, never really took the time, and ultimately misdiagnosed me, which made everything worse. For the first five weeks there, my pain went from excruciating to somewhat manageable, so I stayed hopeful. But by the ten week mark, my pain not only stopped improving, it actually got worse. Basic things like bending, lifting, or even putting on my pants became nearly impossible. After ten weeks with no real progress and seven months of suffering, I felt hopeless. A friend recommended Onward, so I decided it was time to spend the extra money and go somewhere truly reputable. After one session, my pain went from unbearable to almost completely relieved. After my second session, I never felt more confident about getting my life back. The progress I made in two visits was more than anything I experienced in the previous seven months combined. They also made me feel so genuinely welcomed that I could probably spill my entire life story to them and feel like they would care, the way a best friend would. Their space is so warm and inviting, and it is nothing like an average doctor’s office. Comforting, safe, and not awkward at all. I know I still have a recovery road ahead, learning how to move safely again and eventually returning to the gym, but Onward restored something I thought I lost. They gave me hope. They got to the root cause, took their time, and truly changed my life. I believe in their mission wholeheartedly, and I will continue going to them for anything I need in the future. I cannot recommend them enough. The first photo I am sharing is from before my very first appointment. I could barely bend over, and that was as far as my body would go. The second photo is from just four days after my first session. I was able to touch the floor completely, something I had not been able to do in months.
I had an amazing experience at Onward Physical Therapy! I came in with lower back pain and pelvic floor issues, and working with Cheyenne made a huge difference. She’s super knowledgeable, easy to talk to, and really helped me understand what was going on with my body. After just a few sessions, I started feeling so much better. Highly recommend Onward Physical Therapy for all of your physical therapy needs.
