I cannot recommend Crystal and Corrinna enough! They traveled to the venue, timely, communicative and professional. (Travel via ferry to Kitsap county is no joke in the busy summer months either). We had so much fun going through the makeup trial for myself and my family members. They adjusted to each person's preference for level of makeup, which was great for friends that wanted a more natural look - but they made me feel like an absolute star! I brought inspiration photos for both hair and makeup, I am a big fan of pride and prejudice, so they went all in on the updo and makeup. My look lasted through many happy tears and dancing at the reception too! My husband wanted his beard to look nice and clean, so they even did a "beard trial" and a beard trim on the wedding day - can't say that is a typical request but they were so accommodating! I also appreciated that they were able to adjust the contract to add or remove friends/family as that changed leading up to the wedding. There was no minimum number of people for my party either, which was perfect since we didn't have a bridal/groom party. Both of them are so friendly and creative - you should absolutely hire them!

Amazing experience with Crystal and Corrinna for wedding hair and makeup! I booked the hair/makeup package with preview - they made me so comfortable and made great suggestions that went with the vibe I was after. I ended up changing hairstyles the day of and they didn't bat an eye. The day of they made me so relaxed in their beautiful salon, and the final look was perfect - I looked like a bride but still like myself! Makeup was more natural with some extra shadow/liner (didn't budge the whole day!), and hair was long with glossy s-curls. I definitely recommend them to any brides looking for hair and makeup!

I was on the hunt for a hairstylist for my wedding, and initially reached out to Opal Artistry Salon due to how close they were to where we lived and our venue. After a trial and services on the day of my wedding, I have absolutely NO regrets and even if I moved far away I would make the drive/trip to come back! From my trial, Corrinna was attentive and helpful, coming up with suggestions for my desired look such as a mesh instead of extensions, and finding the perfect style for an elegant bun that was not too sleek/sterile or too messy, and perfected a minor change I suggested between trial day and the wedding. Initially it was going to be just myself and perhaps 1 other bridesmaid, but she was flexible when we all 4 of us decided to get our hair done together and called in Crystal who was also a pleasure to hang out with! Their salon is super cute and they are a duo that were just plain fun to chat with and be around while we were getting our hair done. All of my bridesmaids remarked on how enjoyable it was and how great Corrinna and Crystal were! I was also super stressed out the morning of my wedding as our power went out and we weren't sure if the salon still had power - she was communicative and ready to find an alternative at either the venue or family homes nearby. Luckily we did not have to pack up shop and relocate but I really appreciated the additional readiness/flexibility in case we had to go that route! Thanks again!

This is a long overdue review. I have been going to Crystal for haircuts and hair coloring for almost two years now. I’ve never been so happy with the results and Crystal never disappoints! She is incredibly talented and professional. Would highly recommend her services to anyone!

Crystal was my hairstylist for my wedding and I will continue to be her client at the salon. She did a great job with cutting my curls, and I loved how she styled my half up-do for the wedding. She's a great listener and nailed my vision. Also, she did an incredible job on my mother's hair for the wedding. Her hair is really thin/straight and Crystal still managed to create an elegant updo. She received so many compliments!! As for the space itself, the salon is really cute and clean. I recommend leaving a bit of time to find parking nearby (as it's in Pioneer square).
