Five weeks into total knee replacement. And thanks to Jacob and Lisan I will get back on the tennis court! The individual attention I have received has been invaluable. Jacob is encouraging, but honest and it was exactly what I needed. Would never think of going to another PT after this experience.
I had had lower back pain from lifting injuries in high school that got better but got injured again earlier this year from lifting. I had went to other places to try to fix it but no one came close to the attention and detail that Jacob provided. He will work with you and listen to every detail of your life to try and piece together what’s triggering the pain and will build you a plan to not only get you pain free, but to stay pain free. 10/10 experience at Optimize PT. Jacob did a great job treating my injury with care but also pushing me to get better and gain confidence with weights. Many nagging issues I’ve had from running have gotten astronomically better with his guidance. The biggest advantage Optimize PT over others is Jacob’s clear passion for this industry. He loved “talking shop” and explaining anatomically what was going on with my body and I felt I learned a lot outside of how to do exercises. He clearly tailored a plan to my needs while other PTs I’ve seen have just given me a boiler plate basic program. Best physical therapist I’ve been to by a mile!
To put it simply I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From the first day I walked in and got all set up with Lissan I knew I was dealing with professionals. Then after meeting Jacob I was assured I came to the right place. Jacob helped me overcome tightness and pain in ways I never thought imaginable. He is very knowledgeable when it comes to our human body and how it reacts to all sorts of stimulus and exercise. He takes a very responsive approach to physical therapy and doesn’t beat around the bush, he is results driven. Not only did he fix me but I also learned a ton! Couldn’t recommend Optimize enough, thanks again!
I went to optimize for several months after labrum shoulder surgery and could not have been more pleased with my experience. I played 5 years of D1 college softball (University of Illinois and Jacksonville University), so I have had my fair share of physical therapists. It is hard to come by someone who truly cares to understand your specific needs and Jacob took the time to listen and push me to be at my best. He is constantly trying to grow and learn more in his field, which is also something that is hard to find in PT nowadays. Jacob was able to find the balance of pushing me while also listening to my body. I would HIGHLY recommend coming here for any of your needs because both Lissan and Jacob helped my recovery go smoother and better than I could have ever imagined.
