Original alterations hemmed and bustled my wedding dress and did a great job. I did bring my dress in and there was an error made where they accidentally missed a layer of the dress. Once I noticed this, I called to notify them of the honest error and they answered even though it wasn’t during their business hours. They told me to bring the dress back as soon as I could and they dropped everything they were doing and fixed it immediately. It only took 20 minutes max, so I could wait in the shop for it and take it back home same day. They steamed my dress for free to rectify the issue. I appreciated that they had me put the dress on before leaving and took a video of how to bustle the dress, so there was so question on how to do it correctly the day of the wedding. Overall, I would recommend original alterations.
Shamsi and the team at Original Alterations are life savers! After my original seamstress notified me that she was retiring & had done nothing to my wedding dress in the ~3 months she had it, I was in a panic. Original Alterations was able to get me in for an appointment and then assured me that they could get my alterations done in time. Shamsi is so talented and knowledgable. I couldn't be happier with my dress- it turned out perfect!!
Had my wedding dress altered here and I am so happy with how it turned out! It was several sizes too large, had a couple of rips in the seams, and they brought it back to life with a perfect fit. I also had them add straps to the dress for the reception and I’m so glad I did. Pricing is fair, and the owners were very kind and accommodating throughout the process. I’m very happy with how my dress turned out!
I had a great experience working with the ladies at original alterations. They worked to make my wedding dress exactly what I hoped for. Not only did it fit me perfectly but they also customized the straps by hand stitching lace leaves onto the straps. They made my dream dress happen and were very timely in the process. They also did a quick strap shortening on my bachelorette party dress and it was done in just a couple days! I also had a couple hair scrunchies made from my wedding dress material that came out perfect. I highly recommend!
