Came here for dinner with family and we were all very impressed by our food and drinks. We all ordered steaks and all the food was very flavorful with large portions and great value. Our server was very friendly and provided top notch service for our table. We went in without high expectations and were very impressed throughout the entire evening. Definitely will be back!

This is the first time we visited Owyhee Tavern. Our normal spot is Bowen Tavern. Our welcome was a bit cool, but once we were seated Trevon made our experience awesome! Came for an event in the private room- there was one server for the ENTIRE evening, probably 35 people there and one server covering drinks, food, everything. Went an hour not seeing anyone to order another drink, steaks all came out incredibly rare despite preference ordered, and food overall was super bland and meh. Nothing crazy good or enjoyable. Bad service. (Server did his best, but needed at least 2 other people with him)

The food was great! My steak was so good and affordable! Great service. I wish drinks weren't quite so spendy because we would have hung out longer but really this is great food at reasonable prices!

I was in the area and ate here 2 days in a row because of practicality. Day 1 I ordered the snake river farms wagyu ny strip steak medium rare. The service was great but the steak was all tendon and not good at all. I had 30 min to eat so I didn't bother complaining. The second day I ordered a coke zero and the waiter then took another 15 min to take my order. I ordered a filet mignon because I didnt think the most expensive cut on the menu could be messed up. Medium rare came out well. The steak was massive disappointment. And the waitress never refilled my drink the whole time I was there. After 30 min I had the bar tender fill it. I wont be going back. 2 for 2 on ruining steaks.
