We had a very disappointing experience. Before booking, I called to check if this was suitable for my 4- and 6-year-old. Staff assured me it was appropriate and even said it was the easiest option. Trusting that advice, I paid $171. The room was far too difficult for young children. My kids couldn’t solve a single clue and we had to leave early. Only afterward was I told there are easier, family-friendly rooms available. Felt misled and extremely disappointed. Not suitable for young kids despite what we were told.

My partner and I played 4 escape rooms here, and while overall we had a good experience, we were slightly disappointed with a few things. We decided to leave a review to provide some feedback. My partner and I have done more than 50 escape rooms together across Australia , and both have worked in an escape room in Adelaide for a number of years. Buried: Buried was a fantastic escape room, very unique, and a style of room neither of us have really done before. Unfortunately there was a small technical error at the end of the room, but overall did not disappoint. 8/10 Freak Show: This was by far our favourite room. Very fun, well designed and themed, terrifying, and the live actor was really good. We can’t remember the name of our game master, but she did a great job. 10/10. Serial Killer: Our second favourite room of the day. Fun puzzles and it all tied together in the end. Theming was great. Small suggestion for the hidden item in the final room. Something to prompt people towards that would make it slightly more enjoyable. Shoutout Emily though. 8/10 Carnival: Unfortunately, this room was very disappointing for us. We had quite a number of technical errors. First, the vending machine in the room did not work which caused the game master to have to come in and manually give us the items, which disrupted the flow of the room. The game master did not notice the machine was not working, which had us sitting around for 10-15 minutes, thinking we had just missed something, which spoiled the mood a bit. Also, the main attraction of the room, the go kart did not work either. The game master had told us we needed to manually push it, which kind of killed some of the fun for us. The game master in this room was very kind, but we do have a small suggestion. Whenever we were presented with a technical error, we would communicate it through the walkie talkie. She would be very slow to respond, which would just leave us sitting around the walkie talkie while we waited for her response. She was working on a solution in this time, but we would have appreciated some communication around that so we weren’t just sitting around questioning if she had actually heard us. We have worked in an escape room for a number of years, and definitely understand that things can’t go perfect all the time, but we really left feeling disappointed with this room. With the major technical errors there were in this room, we really feel like we got value out of our money. 5/10

Paris was amazing. The whole team was great. Was clean and tidy. Clear instructions and suited the ages in our group!!

Love the atmosphere. Had so much fun. Loved the puzzles and rooms. Staff were friendly and helpful and very scary. Thanks harry for making it such a great experience.

Padlock’d escape rooms offer rooms for all ages. Each room offers its own thrills, adventures and jump-scares. The crew are great and walk you through the story line of each adventure you find yourself exploring. My partner and I have know completed all of the rooms. We enjoyed each and every one and still continue to return with new friends to engage and try out the puzzles. Definitely check these guys out, great fun
