Thanks to online reviews we can now find hidden gems and this one is the definition of a hidden gem - tucked down a laneway, literally under a stairwell. They use a mild coffee bean that’s always smooth (one of the best I had in Surfers Paradise, although I prefer more robust beans). The three cheese jaffle was AMAZING - the simple things done right are often the best. A must try! Friendly staff, cozy atmosphere right in the centre but tucked away, and opens early (6am)

Really nice place and first time I found it in the goldcoast. I originally couldn’t find the place, but since it’s named stairwell coffee, I found it through a hallway nearby a staircase 😆 As soon as you get there, it feels homey. Everyone working there is very friendly and efficient. The coffee is just great and the food is definitely a must try. There’s something about this place that just feels right, so definitely go try it out.

Amazing place, quite than the roadside buzz and relaxing. The coffee is unbelievably perfect. Just had few sips and could not stop myself from reviewing. Just wanted to try different cafes in GoldCoast visit and hit one of the best. Will visit again before I leave.

Great coffee and foid from a hole in the wall. Had a Ruben jaffle, just lovely. Coffee is always consistent and the owners roast their own beans and sell their beans. Milk temperature and texturing is always consistent and spot on. So yourselves a flavour and give the little guys a go! You won't be sorry. Thank you.

Loved our breakfast with Stairwell Coffee! The coffee was excellent, and the staff were super friendly and accommodating. They offer a great range of non-dairy milk options, and even adjusted the smashed avo toast to suit my vegan needs, which was really thoughtful. The jaffle was amazing perfectly crispy and full of flavour. The café is tucked away in an alley, so it can be a little tricky to find we almost gave up looking! Once you find it though, it’s absolutely worth it!
