Best in town so far. Great salsa, my typical Mexican restaurant good rating requirement. Nice ambiance. Flautas were my favorite of our meal.

Read the reviews and was hopeful for a nice dinner. My husband and I ordered one chicken and beef burrito. The chicken was obviously canned, it was quite bland and still had the distinctive slimy texture and aftertaste found in a just cracked can. The ground beef tasted strongly of liver and was similarly unappealing. The rice and beans were nothing special. In all, not remotely worth the $43 total we spent. A shame because the building was very nicely decorated and the service was fast and friendly. Maybe their other food is worth the time and money, but I won't be finding out.

This is the first true authentic Mexican restaurant that I found and dined at in the two weeks that I've been in Anchorage, Alaska and coming from San Francisco where there's a rich cornucopia of authentic Mexican cuisine including food, trucks and taquerias. This made me really happy because I got a chicken quesadilla suiza that had the right amount of spices and extra melted queso and shredded chicken. I needed to hit that spot of contentment for cheese lovers like me ;) and the mild spicy and super spicy salsas are perfect, especially the super spicy which was habanero mmm

We came around 6pm, not too busy restaurant. I like the scampi shrimp with mexican rice. The atmosphere is sooooo mexico with the decoration and the dim yellow lights

Hands down best Margaritas I've had in anchorage. I did get top shelf liquor but there was almost a vanilla taste. So good! Based on the reviews I was hoping the food would be better...we didn't think the food was that great. But the Margaritas!
