I want to recognize Kurosh for his incredible service. He was welcoming, patient, and always had a smile, even during busy moments. He made us feel valued as guests and really enhanced our time at the rink. Employees like him make people want to come back!
Great skate rink! One of the last skating rinks in The Bay sadly, but great staff and we all had a blast. Make sure to check their hours for their most up to date session hours, especially for others who were willing to make the drive to support this great place. Will be back soon, thank you Paradise Skate Roller Rink!
They need to hire additional staff! This poor man was basically working on his own, having to go back and forth and if you want to purchase anything additional skates, or a skate assist you have to go back outside! It’s ridiculous tbh
Paradise Skate Roller Rink is one of those tucked-away spots that feels like a step back in time – a totally normal, no-frills roller skating rink with that awesome retro 80s/90s atmosphere. Blasting throwback hits, colorful lights swirling around the wooden floor, skate games, limbo, and just good old-fashioned circling the rink. It’s super fun for families, date nights, or birthday parties, and the vibe is chill and nostalgic without being over-the-top themed. The place is hidden in an industrial-ish area, so it might take a minute to find, but once you’re there, it’s pure enjoyment. Staff are friendly, snacks and drinks are decent (pizza, nachos, etc.), and admission is pretty reasonable. That said, the hours can be really irritating – they seem limited, mostly evenings and weekends, with random closures or special sessions. Always check ahead because showing up to a “closed” sign is a bummer! Also, the rental skates are pretty worn out – wheels feel loose, boots are scuffed and beat up. Definitely recommend bringing your own if you have them for a smoother ride. Overall, solid 4 stars for the authentic fun factor – my group had a blast laughing and falling our way around the floor. Worth the visit if you’re craving classic roller skating! Curious though – has anyone else dealt with the wonky hours and found the best times to go? Do you bring your own skates, or have they updated the rentals lately? Any favorite skate nights or events there?
It is great to see a roller skating rink enjoyed by my kids. This is a great little place, but there were some things I was disappointed in. Many of the games were out of order (see pics). It is small around the rink so it can get pretty crowded for people who aren't in the rink or parents at parties. The food was ok and reasonably priced. My fries were undercooked though. Overall the staff was friendly and courteous and watched out for kids misbehaving. They were very safety conscious which I appreciate.
