By far the worst grooming experience ever. I’m not sure if they were having a busy day but we paid for the full groom and our dog came back still matted, paw pads weren’t trimmed properly, legs were shaved unevenly. You can do a better job yourself. It was a very choppy job with no attention to detail whatsoever. I am still brushing him as we speak 20 minutes later… After paying $130 here I feel completely disappointed. Not sure why this place has such stellar reviews. Perhaps we had a new groomer on an off day but I will not be returning.

Excellent Grooming and Playcare Experience. We dropped our pup off for the day and returned to a beautifully groomed, clean and happy pup. We appreciated that our dog was able to experience a fun day but also come back groomed. We were able to have our own fun biking along the waterfront. We definitely will be back every few months for this service. We do not live downtown, but there is so much to do in Toronto, we can’t wait until we need another grooming so we can plan another adventure!

I had a deeply upsetting experience with Park9’s playcare service. I dropped my dog off on a Saturday, trusting she would have a safe space to play and socialize. A couple of hours later, when I randomly checked the live footage online, I was horrified to see her tangled with another dog, struggling, while other dogs were acting aggressively. There was only one staff member supervising 15+ dogs, wearing headphones and focused on his phone, completely unaware of the chaos. Watching her struggle while no one intervened was heartbreaking. I immediately called the front desk. They also saw the neglect on the webcam and notified the staff member. I explicitly requested that my dog be separated and said I would arrive in 10 minutes to pick her up early. Yet, when I checked the feed again just five minutes later, the same staff member was still distracted, my dog was not separated and aggressive behavior continued. My clear instructions were ignored. When I arrived, my usually confident and happy dog was visibly stressed, frazzled, and slightly limping. It broke my heart. I requested the camera footage to understand what had happened and whether she needed a vet, but the manager refused. This lack of transparency and empathy only heightened my concern. I trusted Park9 to provide safe, attentive care after doing my due diligence and asking relevant questions before enrolling her. Instead, I witnessed neglect, unsafe conditions, and a staff member clearly overwhelmed and inattentive. Please be cautious if you plan to leave your little ones here, monitor the cameras if you can, or consider other options. Aggressive dogs are allowed in playcare, which could be dangerous or influence your dog’s behavior. My experience shows that the well-being of dogs may not be their priority, and the refusal to share footage confirms they are hiding something.

We love this place, and most importantly, so does our Frenchie, Olive! If you utter the words "Park 9" she gets so excited and immediately waits by the front door until we head over. It's conveniently located downtown which makes it great to send her to playcare weekly. The webcams on their website are great for new pet owners who can peak on their babies to see them having a blast. Their prices are reasonable, too! Last year we tried their boarding and we thought it was good too! We got a bunch of photos while we were away, and getting the option to pick her up at the boarding facility the night of our arrival near Pearson was great.

Darelle was amazing with my goldendoodle Jeera. She groomed him really well, and he was looking shiny and fresh. He also smelt great. Darelle was really good in her communication on after care as well. The pricing for grooms is very competitive with others in the neighbourhood. The front desk staff were also very friendly and welcoming. Would highly recommend Darelle for your pup's grooming needs!
