Finally I am understanding and executing the moves in pilates correctly. THANK YOU Laurie! After years of pilates and several teachers Laurie has opened new doors to me. The instructors were fine but Laurie is so very excellent. Her knowledge and varied areas of training provide a very comprehensive foundation for her teaching. I truly believe she is providing the tools to allow me to go further in my practice. Laurie is a gifted teacher and I am indeed very a fortunate student

I had been hesitant to try Pilates since I was afraid I didn’t have the core strength, and the machines appeared intimidating. Laurie is an excellent instructor who takes the time to show you the machine, how to use it, and how to tailor it to your level. She makes me feel comfortable to ask lots of questions and to go at my own pace. I was surprised at how easy it was to get started with Pilates and how good it makes me feel. Laurie puts 100% into her teaching to make sure you get the best experience.

Parkside Pilates has been a great help for me! I have had back pain for many years, and I always feel better after my Pilates session. Laurie is a very knowledgeable instructor, focuses on the areas of your body where need is evident, and is always cognizant and careful of your limits. This was my first experience with Pilates, and I received extremely personal attention from Laurie. Each weekly session addressed my strengths and weaknesses and gave careful attention to the neck and shoulder pain I was trying to resolve. Laurie explained and demonstrated each move and was a wealth of information. I highly recommend her as an instructor.

I’ve done several types of Pilates over the years and attended classes at several studios, and Laurie at Parkside Pilates is by far my favorite! I really appreciate her attention to detail during our sessions and the hands on / one on one instruction is unmatched. Highly recommend

Laurie is an awesome Pilates instructor! I would come into class feeling tight and sometimes even sore, but I would leave feeling relaxed, stretched out and strong! Pilates is such a beautiful blend of strength, balance and stretching and Laurie combines all of it in a smooth and enjoyable way. I highly recommend Parkside Pilates!
