I booked a party bus for a group of high school seniors attending prom. The bus arrived early, and the driver was very friendly and accommodating. The major flaw, and I mean major, was that on a 90+ degree day the AC was not working properly. The fans were blowing flawlessly, but blowing warm air. I asked about it immediately and was assured that as soon as they started driving around the temperature would lower. It did not. The bulk of the time on the party bus was to be spent driving around before the dance. There were 17 guys & girls in suits and formal gowns who paid a lot of money for said attire as well as hair & makeup, but sweated so profusely their clothes and hair were soaked, makeup and hair ruined. They felt sick. Some parents drove out to help their daughters reapply makeup & redo hair for the dance in a public restroom. A different bus was sent for pickup that worked perfectly. Had that bus been sent to begin with, or retrieved as soon as the temperature was not improving, the entire experience would have been different. The owner was very apologetic - he offered additional time on the new bus and a discount was also applied, which is appreciated. While the experience was poor due to the AC issue, the customer service was very positive. I understand that unexpected issues can arise at the most inopportune times - such is life. Aside from that issue the experience was very good.
