Everyone at Passalino’s made our wedding day such a special experience. Our guests kept saying how beautiful the venue was. Anna was so incredibly helpful and responsive to every question I had throughout the planning process. The bar tenders brought the house down. I wish I could get married again just to have it here!
We had our wedding here on May 18th 2025. We fell in love with the venue on our first visit after touring around 10 venues throughout Louisville and new Albany. Things started a little rocky as they went through 3 venue coordinators in the year we planned the wedding with them. I was a little nervous by the 3rd coordinator, but Anna soon put all my worries to ease. She is simply amazing. She reassured all my doubts leading up to the day and was super responsive in communicating. The weekend of the wedding she was prompt, professional and so accommodating working with my wedding coordinators and any issues that came up. Without her, I don't think the day would have went half as smooth. Like with any venue, there were a few things that could use some work. The space wasn't well swept, which we noticed during rehearsal the day before. They had the cleaning team come back out but they still skipped the floors so we just swept ourselves that morning. Not a huge deal. Also, super small detail but with the alcohol package the girls get 2 bottles of champagne while the grooms suite get beer. Between all the bridesmaids and friends there to help set up/do make up/hair, etc there were about 14 of us sharing the 2 bottles of champagne from 9am until 3pm. It didn't go far and even with the open bar, you only get those 2 bottles. That was a little disappointing but also not a huge deal. All in all we loved the venue and would choose it again, especially if Anna stays on as the consistent coordinator.
The performances of the speakeasy performers were absolutely captivating as they masterfully brought Edgar Allan Poe's stories to life.
This space was an absolute dream for our special day. We loved being able to have cocktail hour on the Mezzanine and our ceremony and reception on the main level. We got so many compliments on the room and space, and we were just as excited with how the room turned out. The bartenders and venue managers were all super friendly and fun to work with! We did not have a planner or coordinator for our wedding, but Jennifer at Passalino's was there to answer all of our questions leading up to the big day, and was always quick to respond. I would recommend future brides have a day of coordinator if they were to book this space, as there can be staffing conflicts with other weddings at The Gillespie and the Passalino's team is mostly there to set up the venue and let vendors in if they're on the floor. Having an extra person around to help get things ready on wedding day is best to ease nerves on the big day. We also LOVED having the Airbnb space right above the venue to stay in our wedding weekend. It was so convenient and super cute!
We had our beautiful wedding at Passalino's January 09, 2022. Passalino's is a beautiful venue. We booked the venue not just because the venue was beautifiul but their coordinator Jennifer was so sweet upon the first meeting. She was wonderful and a pleasure to work with. She answered all of my questions and had some very helpful suggestions. Tables, chairs, tablecloths, uplighting, some decor, and 2 suites to get ready were included. Our day ran very smoothly. Better than I could have ever imagined!
