Guro Jake is a fantastic teacher with an amazing amount of skill and knowlege. My family and I have been part of PAMA for 2 years. I have seen all of us grow so much in that time. I love learning real life martial arts here, and I enjoy how close everyone here is.

PAMA is an incredible school and part of an amazing organization. Jake Patterson is a highly knowledgeable professional. His training and passion for the martial arts shows in everything he does. Definitely check out this school. I've trained with Jake many times and always come away from it grateful for the things I've learned and the ways he's helped me grow

I can't recommend PAMA enough. If you're looking for real, comprehensive martial arts training anywhere near the Austin area, this it. You won't find anyone better. I've been friends, training partners, and co-instructors with Guro Jake Patterson since 2008. He is, by far, one of the best and most knowledgeable martial artists I've ever worked with. He's amazing with all of his students, kids through adults, and just an all around great person in general.

I have known and trained with Guro Jake for years. He is the epitome of professional. His love and knowledge of martial arts is apparent in his life and business. If you are thinking about training at Patterson’s Academy of Martial Arts you are a halfway there. Go join up and make the final push!

I have been a member of PAMA for about a year. Not only do I get a great workout, I get to work out with a great group of people. Guro Jake and Tiffany have created a family atmosphere that makes everyone feel welcome. The fitness classes provide a fun sweaty workout. The martial arts curriculum is challenging and exciting. I am amazed everyday at how far I have come. Martial arts has helped me improve both mentally and physically while learning with great people from an amazing teacher. This place is different and special and I feel so lucky to have found it.
