I can't thank Peter with Paws and Effect enough or recommend him highly enough. Little did I know when I met him at the airport randomly, that he would have such an impact on my dog Harry, a purebred Brittany. Harry had some pretty intense neuroses with car rides, walking on a leash, and greeting people at the door. In the six months that they worked together, I can see a marked difference in Harry. Peter is knowledgeable, professional, flexible, and fun to talk to : )

We loved working with Peter! Peter came highly recommended through a friend and his dog training services were amazing!! He took the time to get to know my puppy to understand how she would best learn. He is very patient and positive, both with my pup, and with teaching me how to maintain and build on what we are learning. I would absolutely recommend Peter for anyone's dog training needs!!

We contacted Peter because our exuberant 6-month-old lab pup, Rufus, was constantly over-threshold in group training classes. Peter gave insightful advice and training tailored to our dog’s needs. He even curated a YouTube dog training playlist for us! Rufus is still a pup, but we are now confident that we can help him reach his potential. If you have an aggressive dog, Peter is a dog behaviorist, and will work to find out the root cause and then work to help the dog be the best they can be. (Did I mention he's a US Army veteran?) He works will all breeds, including pit bulls. Note: Peter also works to help train therapy dogs, emotional support dogs, and has special discounts for veterans.
