Troy helped us understand why Brisket was behaving the way he was and what we could do to get him to a place of less fear, anxiety, and uncertainty. We adopted Brisket when he was 6. He was a good boy from day 1 but clearly had anxiety and was not socialized by his previous owner. As of today we’ve complete the 6-week training course with Troy, and by comparison we’ve noticed a big difference in his anxiety levels, trust in us, and ability to listen to our commands. Troy is a tough but fair teacher. This is the first time we went through a dog training course so we wanted to be corrected when we were doing anything wrong. Troy has no problem doing that, and we were grateful because we learned a lot. We still have a way to go with Brisket, but we feel we have the tools to be successful and for Brisket have a more worry-free life. Thanks Troy!
Troy is a great resource and trainer. We adopted our puppy, Weber, and immediately began training with Troy through one-on-one weekly sessions to build Weber’s confidence, basic commands, and leash foundation. Gus and I have gained so much confidence over the last couple months. Gus, a 2 year old pit mix, struggled with dog reactivity issues and a bite history, and Troy has helped us immensely. Troy saw the potential in Gus and I finally got to see him really start to make improvements. I’m so happy I decided to go with this training. My husband and I could not be happier with the results from Paws To Train Your Dog! It feels like we have our lives back and our dogs are happier than ever. We first reached out to Troy to train our dog, Cowboy, who had virtually 0 training up until that point and was very reactive with other dogs. Now, Cowboy walks perfectly on the leash, can be safe and respectful around other dogs, follows sit/come/down/place commands, and more. His personality is more confident than ever and it seems like he actually enjoys having these guidelines in place. Troy is the absolute best in the business. We did the the 6 training sessions and every single one was so beneficial. My girlfriend and I had no idea how to train our new pup and consulted other trainers before we found Troy but wow what a difference he made in just 6 weeks. He showed us things that we would have never thought of. It is night and day how much better she has gotten. He provided us with so much knowledge that we continue to use on a regular basis. When people meet Paisley, they are shocked at how well behaved and friendly she is for just a 6 month old pup! Again, Troy is the best and worth it!
