I’ve taken my dog here twice, and both times he came back with cuts and razor burn. The last visit was especially bad—he had severe cuts and razor burn on his private area, so painful that he couldn’t walk. He eventually developed an infection that required a vet visit, antibiotics, and other medication, costing me over $300. While the staff refunded half of the grooming fee, they ignored my follow-ups afterward. When I finally spoke with the manager, I was told it was my fault because my dog was “too matted.” For the record, my dog was not matted. That kind of response and lack of accountability is unacceptable. I would never recommend this place to anyone who cares about their pet’s safety and well-being

The hairy dog is amazing! I do make a 30 minute drive to Phoenix. But it’s honestly so worth it. Both my fur babies have been going to the hairy dog over the past few years now. The staff is amazing with my boys, and so very nice. My little guy does get spooked going to groomers and vet. But they’re great on making him feel at home and relaxed durning his appointment.

First time going to The Hairy Dog and I'm very happy with my experience. They were super friendly and took great care of my pup. He got to play all morning and his coat has never been more soft and shiny. They're also appropriately priced in my opinion / compared to some of the other local groomers. Will definitely be going back!!

Hairy Dog always goes above and beyond for my pup! We recently took him in prior to our baby shower (we were expecting a girl) and we requested pink bows for him for the shower. They went all out and spent a lot of time making sure he looked good!! He doesn’t love the grooming process and experiences anxiety with it since he was a puppy, but the staff at Hairy Dog treat him so well it puts my mind at ease. Would definitely recommend them for your grooming needs.
