Wife and I took the kids out to do the Christmas lights tour with the Rickshaw guys, it was a magnificent time, super fun zipping around through the crowds. We had two guides; Timmo & Michael, they were fabulous and full of energy (despite likely having done back to back rides already). Those two guys definitely made the experience top tier. We will certainly be coming back and doing the scavanger hunt with the kids this holidays.

This was our fourth consecutive year booking with Peddle Perth for their Lights Tour, as well as possibly 10th large group booking. We have been loyal, repeat customers who have organised multiple large group tours over several years. That history makes this experience even more disappointing. If I could leave a review less than one star I would and this is simply not a business I can support and would encourage others not to support this type of behaviour. We had a clearly confirmed booking for 22 bikes, repeatedly confirmed in writing over many months. Peddle Perth’s own website and confirmations state tours are booked per bike, with a capacity of 2 adults and 1 child, or 1 adult and 2 children per bike. On arrival, we were abruptly and rudely advised they do not book by number of bikes which was a clear contradiction to all written confirmations over many emails and months, only 17 bikes were provided for our group of 22 adults and 28 children, with no prior notice. The same booking and numbers as the previous year. When this was raised calmly — with written confirmations available — the business owner, Ronny Braunstein, refused to review the documentation and instead became aggressive, dismissive, and verbally abusive in front of families and children. He yelled, spoke over me, and stood over me. Multiple adults present asked him to stop, and many witnesses observed this behaviour directly. Claims made afterward that we were “rude” are completely inconsistent with what dozens of people witnessed on the night. As a result of the bike shortage and poor management: - Families were split across bikes, separating parents from young children - The group departed late with no coordination - A flat tyre caused significant delays - Most bikes received far less than the advertised 45-minute tour - A near-miss with traffic caused visible distress to a parent and child Several staff members were apologetic and clearly embarrassed, and this review does not reflect the riders or office staff, who were professional and kind throughout. What is most concerning is not just the failure to provide the confirmed number of bikes, but the verbal abuse and rude and dismissive emails with refusal to take accountability afterward and the attempt to retrospectively change agreed booking terms. After years of loyal custom, this experience was unacceptable. Based on the conduct witnessed and the service delivered, I cannot recommend Peddle Perth and would encourage others not to support businesses that behave this way.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had an amazing time on the Peddle Perth Christmas Lights Tour, thanks to Leo! He was friendly, organised and made the whole experience so much fun. Leo knew all the best spots, kept the tour running smoothly, and created such a great atmosphere for everyone. The lights were stunning and it was the perfect way to get into the Christmas spirit. Highly recommend this tour and especially Leo as your guide! 🎄✨

It was the best decision to pick Peddle Perth to celebrate my boy's birthday this year. It's almost surreal how smoothly they handled 16 boys for a Scavenger Hunt!! They managed to run the whole event without any scene and kept the boys busy and having fun at the same time. Thank you for making the day totally awesome :) Please send our regards to your amazing team, they are such an energetic, fun, kind, and patiently interacting with all the 5th grader kids, my son and his friends had the best birthday event ever! Highly recommended for anyone who wants to have more than ordinary birthday celebration :D

We hired four Peddle Perth rickshaws to cart our wedding crew around Northbridge for photos with our family and friends (50 people!), and it was one of the absolute highlights of the day. From start to finish, the team was patient, kind, fun, and totally in the spirit of the celebration. They let us play our own music, kept the vibes high, and even dressed up in tuxedo T-shirts — such a brilliant touch that made everything feel that bit more special and memorable. Our whole group had a blast, and the photos are incredible thanks to the energy they brought. If you’re looking to add something unique, joyful, and effortlessly cool to your event, we cannot recommend Peddle Perth more highly. They went above and beyond, and we’re so grateful for the fun they added to our wedding day!
