I popped in on a Tuesday to be pleasantly surprised that it was Taco Tuesday and all the tacos were 50% off. The atmosphere in the venue was a little dead and I think they could have been playing more appropriate music for the setting. The staff all seemed distracted and service was SLOW. However the food made up for it and I really enjoyed all teh tacos and would highly recommend. They also do Bluelight discount which was a lovely little bonus.

A must visit restaurant if in the area. Ideal for food prior to visiting the arena which is just a short walk away. Service is excellent and the food is amazing, also very reasonably priced. The decor is awesome. Would highly recommend reserving a table, we went on a concert night and they were fully booked at 6:30.

Really good food. But what sets this place apart from other places in Birmingham is the positive lively energy from the staff. The atmosphere is amazing and super welcoming. Jess and Niamh served me and my friends and they were absolutely fantastic. They definitely made us want to come again in the future. Some of the best service all around. Thank you! (Ps. They gave us sombreros for a picture and my friend got a free brownie for her birthday)

I really wanted to like this place, but I’ve just paid £21 for this “burrito bowl” and a vimto and I’m stunned… a load of raw red onion, a load of raw yellow pepper, a spoonful of beans and a couple of spoons of rice (which was cold and not really that tasty)? With 2 spoonfuls of watery sour cream and salsa on the side? I will be fair and say that the beef was nice, and I enjoyed that. But I feel really let down by the rest. This can’t be the same food that people are raving about? £17 for the majority of the plate to be raw veg? And honestly, service wasn’t great either - and I very rarely complain about that! I’m a solo traveller (on business) so I don’t expect as much attention or effort as other tables, really I don’t, I’m not really here for the experience, I’m just here for a meal. But when service is noticeably below par, it leaves a bad taste in your mouth (if the gob full of raw onion didn’t do that already)… I know it’s December, I know it’s busy, I know I’m a solo traveller, but I sat on the higher chairs so as not to take up table room (which is no problem at all) but I certainly felt second class tonight. I feel really bad because I very rarely write bad reviews, but I’m genuinely shocked at my experience tonight!

Good choice of food on the menu. A few good value meal deals. We went for an early dinner for 5pm when it was quiet and got served very quickly for food and drinks. We finished our meal by 6pm. Ideal place to drink and dine at before going to the Utilita Arena to watch a show as it’s only a short walk to the Arena. We ate Chicken Faijita and Slow cooked Beef Burrito, it was a good meal but we both prefer other Mexican restaurants we’ve previously eaten at others may prefer Perios. Cheesy chips and Sweet potato fries were delicious. We found the music was too loud to be able to have a comfortable conversation.
