I feel fortunate that I was able to met Nancy in Jan of 2018 and have been seeing her ever since. When I first met Nancy I was extremely nervous to explain what I was attempting to accomplish. She was very knowledgeable, was able to answer all of my questions. Nancy was incredibly welcoming, affirming and incredibly sensative to my needs. She made me fee completely at ease from the first moment we met. 

Nancy has helped and continues to help me permanently remove facial hair and prepare for surgery. 

Nancy is one of those rare humans that “just gets it”. I feel incredibly fortunate that my journey led me to her. I hope to be able to be able to see her again soon as soon as we are able.

Best Electrolysis in East Bay! Prices are extremely affordable, easy booking system, and lots of appointment times. I have met very few people who get as much joy and satisfaction in their job as Nancy does hers. Nancy is attentive, caring, and a lot of fun to chat with, which makes long appointments go past in a breeze. She is extremely professional and does her job very well. Definitely give her a try! The prices are comparable to getting regular waxes except hair is gone forever!

I was pleased to find Nancy who uses a blend method of electrolysis which seems more gentle to the face than pure thermolysis. Although a fairly recent graduate, Nancy seemed knowledgeable and competent. For the first 3-4 times I used her services, I was quite pleased. Her pricing of $50 for 15 minutes seemed fair. However, recently she raised her prices without clearly warning me or telling me the exact amount of her increase. In addition, and more significantly, Nancy does not always behave in a professional manner. Unfortunately, she can get highly reactive and inappropriately emotional and out of control, talking non-stop without an interchange, if even politely or gently approached for information about regrowth or her new prices. In addition, she launched into details about her own personal and financial considerations, including why she wanted the checks made to to her mother. I am an educated, polite, friendly professional woman, who has used electrolysis successfully for decades along with numerous other professional and hands on services. This is the first time I have ever encountered inappropriate and unprofessional reactivity on the part of a hands on service provider. It was disappointing and upsetting. I am sorry to be sharing this unfortunate, but important experience with Nancy Silveira.

I’ve been going to Nancy for permanent hair removal for the last year or so (since June 2018). She has gone above and beyond what I expected of an electrologist to do. I was given a date for surgery and needed to have the hair in that location permanently removed, however, there wasn’t much time. Nancy did not sugar coat that we might not be able to clear all the hair away within the time period. Though (spoiler) she managed it, by offering me as much time as she could; even a couple three-hour sessions. Ever since my consultation with Nancy she has made me feel comfortable and has always been willing to answer my questions about the processes of electrolysis/thermolysis and hair cycles. She doesn’t dismiss the research I’ve done, and so doesn’t talk down to me when answering my questions.

After decades of dealing with embarrassing facial hair, I finally decided to try electrolysis with Nancy. She has made such a HUGE positive impact on my overall self-confidence and happiness! Nancy has a remarkable way of making you feel at ease with what can be a very intimidating process. Nancy is a true professional. She really cares about her clients and her results are amazing. Nancy is an AWESOME electrologist!!
