Perry’s is one of the best restaurants to come to Short Pump, well Richmond area. My second visit and both were exceptional! The food is very good, flavorful and great menu selections. The atmosphere oh from the exterior to interior is beautiful, warm and relaxing. Last night Aleisya was our server (party of 2) and she was one of the few great servers I’ve had at any restaurant. She was very friendly, professional, attentive, and she did and excellent job on the menu tour! Thank so much to her and the Perry’s brand for offering such a pleasurable experience to the patrons of Richmond Va! 10/10 highly recommend

We went to Perry’s Steakhouse to celebrate our 1-year anniversary, and we were lucky enough to be served by Nick. I don’t think I’ve ever been taken care of as well as I was by him that day. The way he described each dish was mouthwatering, our table was always spotless, and we never needed to ask for anything — he was always one step ahead. I started with the French Onion Soup and then had Perry’s Filet, both of which were outstanding. My husband had the Koji Ribeye with Truffle Merlot sauce, and it was absolutely delicious. We will definitely be coming back. Nick made the experience unforgettable.

My first time at Perry's was Thanksgiving Day 2025, and it was packed! Customers were standing crowded in the small hostess area. I was joining a party of three who, although reservations had been made, still had to wait to be seated. Tables are very close together, but our server was delightful and recommended menu items well. I expected dishes to be pricey - and they are! I had one of the least expensive pasta, lobster and filet tips dishes; it was delicious but I didn't expect "2oz" to be the tiniest piece of lobster (served in a tail to recognize it, I suppose); and would have loved a bit more angel hair, the tips were tender and flavorful. My friends enjoyed their rib eyes which looked incredible! The ala carte sides are large and shareable. While dining a server/busser overstocked his tray with empty glasses and a few smashed to the floor on his way to the kitchen. Beside glass spattering very close to our table making us leary of shards in our food, the afternoon at Perry's was pleasant.

I went to Perry’s Steakhouse for a “nice dinner” and accidentally signed up for a full culinary drama with a happy ending. First, the cocktails. The Fashioned First is basically a handshake from a very classy bartender who wants better for your life. The Salted Caramel Espresso Martini tastes like dessert, therapy, and a mild caffeine relapse all in one glass. 10/10, would make questionable decisions again. Then the starters hit the table and suddenly I understood why people write love letters to food. Perry’s pork chop bites – a preview of greatness. Seafood stuffed mushrooms – tiny flavor bombs. Signature fried asparagus with crab – vegetables, technically, so I’m counting it as health food. By this point I was full… and then the steaks & chops arrived. The Prime New York Strip and ribeyes are seared like they made a pact with a cast-iron skillet. Perfect crust, juicy center, and that Perry’s steak seasoning that quietly says, “This is why you worked all week.” And then there’s Perry’s Famous Pork Chop. It doesn’t just show up—it enters. Smoked, cured, carved, sauced… it’s less of a pork chop and more of a multi-chapter autobiography. You don’t order it, you commit to it. Sides are equally dangerous: Au gratin potatoes that could start an argument at the table over who gets the corner. Sweet Sriracha Brussels sprouts that might convert lifelong veggie haters. Thick-cut mushrooms that somehow taste like steak’s enthusiastic backup singers. We insisted we were too full for dessert, and then the Champagne Biscuit Charlotte and pumpkin cheesecake appeared and we folded instantly. If dessert is wrong, Perry’s has no interest in being right. Is it cheap? Absolutely not. Was it worth every dramatic swipe of the credit card? Also absolutely. Pro tips: -Wear stretchy pants. - Don’t pretend you’re “just getting a salad.” You’re not. - Book a late reservation so you can go home, fall directly into bed, and dream about that pork chop. If you’re looking for a place where dinner feels like an event and every course tries to outdo the last, Perry’s is your spot.

Dined here for my birthday on November 1st and was pleasantly impressed! Was in the area looking for some top steakhouses and this restaurant popped up. I had the lobster bisque for my appetizer, it was delicious with the bits of lobster throughout. My entree was the Koji 22oz steak, I had the loaded mashed potatoes, the creamed spinach( kind of sweet in my opinion )and I chose the 3 sauces of my choice. I enjoyed everything down to the sauces. My waiter surprised me with a birthday cake and also a birthday card which was a nice gesture! I will be back because I saw a ton of people ordering the pork chops so I’m eager to try that next!! Thank you for a great birthday dinner!!
