This is my spot to go to for my reptile needs. Goo prices for feeders too. But the young girl at the counter, however she is a bit dingy a distracted (seems to be on something?) the last few times I’ve been in. She’ll say that feeders are instock but when I’m sold the product at the register, then walk back to find that they are not it’s upsetting because I drive from east county. Not sure if it’s a lack of communication through the store or she just doesn’t care to check.
I had not been back to this place since I was in college about 25 years ago. It is just as awesome now if not more so than it was back then. They have a excellent reptile collection on par with going to some zoos that I've been to haha. As far as their fish collection, they have excellent nano fish collection as well as cichlid collection. Their prices are a little high but their specimens seem to be very healthy which is always important. They also have a good aquascaping selection of common plants at reasonable prices as well. The staff there is very nice. I will be coming back more often. Highly rated. Must see. I recommend three stores for aquascaping in this region. And pet Kingdom is great
Very helpful staff as they helped us set up with everything we needed for our first time as tarantula owners. Didn’t try to oversell anything in fact recommended some cheaper options on the tank and accessories. Good guidance on care. Huge selection, especially if you are into lizards and snakes! Many options. We left with my daughter begging to buy a snake too. We may be back for that purchase soon.
Used to be wayyyy nicer. Last 2-3 times reptile department hasn't been too friendly. Asked questions about feeder prices and if they ever get a specific lizard I was in the market for. Very curt and not so friendly. Also have very few reptiles compared to a few years ago. Fish department is fun though and seem way nicer. Update. Went to check it out again and they had a very poor looking ETS. I get that it was relinquished but it should either be held back until it looks better or sold much cheaper. The price of him is what I paid for a CB female, which is going rate for females, who was in top shape so his pricing did not make sense.Tons of damages scales and maybe some mild mbd near his hip only pro I have to say is he was a good weight. If I didn’t already have a male in my group and if he wasn’t so expensive I would take him in and try to get him. Photo of him. Looks much worse in person. Please give him to a rescue who knows what they’re actually doing. Really disappointed in the care of this guy
Will definitely be coming here for all future buys for my pet. The workers are very friendly and knowledgeable, they also take the time to explain and show you what you need to maintain a healthy environment for your pet.
