I’ve been a long-time customer, but this experience ended the relationship. On my last grooming visit, my dog’s tail was cut unevenly and inconsistently, basically hacked. When I asked the groomer to fix it, she acknowledged she didn’t know how. At checkout, after reviewing the issue, I was given a 50% discount, which I appreciated as an acknowledgment of the poor work. However, the bigger issue came next. A month later, I scheduled another grooming appointment three days in advance, received confirmation, and made arrangements to get my dog there during a busy work day. When she arrived, the groomer refused service — with no advance notice, no call, and no apology because I noted the issue with her tail during the prior visit. I had to call the store myself to find out what happened. I was told the groomer is a private contractor and could refuse jobs at will, and that nothing could be done except “leaving a note for the manager.” The front store clerk was less than apologetic or professional. Some might say the whole interaction between the two was petty and backhanded. Regardless of internal arrangements, customers schedule through the store, receive confirmations from the store, and reasonably expect professionalism from the business they patronize. Denying service only after a customer arrives — without notice — is unacceptable and suggests you literally no longer want their patronage. Grooming quality here has been inconsistent over the years, but customer service and accountability have been consistently lacking. Closed when they should be open, appointments not communicated to the groomer, grooming that’s poor or incomplete, you name it. After years of loyalty and multiple chances, I won’t be returning. UPDATED TO ADD: my pup made her way to Petsmart on S Claiborne and had a wonderful experience with Enya for $30 cheaper! Her groom was perfect, she was clean everywhere and the engagement was warm and professional. We even left with coupons! Everything worked out!
I felt compelled to share my outstanding grooming experience with my Golden Doodle. At 17 months old, my standard-sized dog has had various grooming sessions, but this one was truly exceptional. During our visits to New Orleans, we had the pleasure of working with Jermaine, who demonstrated remarkable skill and professionalism. The haircut was beautifully executed, and I was particularly impressed by how relaxed my dog appeared after the process. Additionally, the pricing was very reasonable for the high quality of service provided. I wholeheartedly recommend Jermaine and look forward to returning for future grooming sessions. -
Great selection of collars and leashes! However, the staff member working the afternoon of 12/23/25 around 4:00PM was either egregiously unaware or doesn’t like her job. The woman in line in front of us had been standing at the cash wrap for over 5 minutes a line had begun to form and she was ignoring everyone and was fiddling with the collars. Upon finally getting her attention she acted as if having to check people out/ making the store money was an abhorrent inconvenience. Never said “oh my apologies for the wait” wouldn’t make eye contact when checking people out and wouldn’t even utter a thank you upon completion of the transaction. Overall impressive inventory with lackluster and rude service.
My boyfriend and I were looking for a restaurant and had passed it up a few blocks back. We were drenched in sweat because we had been walking all morning and stopped to drink some water and tried to gather where we were. I’m assuming it was the owner, he came out and told us we could step inside to cool off if needed. Honestly, the best thing that could’ve happened because we were feeling lightheaded. We didn’t look around or buy anything, but he talked to us about the area, gave us some food places closer and tried helping us get back on track. We did try Turkey and Wolf and it was amazing! I just wanted to say his kindness went a long way for us. I greatly appreciate him for opening his doors and for being kind. This world could use a little more of that!
Have been taking my dog here for years to be groomed. His current groomer, Licardo, is amazing. I call him my dog’s guardian angel. Not only does he do a great job grooming him, but he has found two small tumors that neither I nor the vet found. Both taken care off and he is doing fine. Could not recommend them more!
