The staff is amazing. Also, the location is very clean and very cute. We did the Phoenician mixed grill for two, and it was cooked perfectly. The meat to vegetable ratio is in your favor. Will come back

Absolutely disappointed and grossed out by the quality and the portion size of our meals. Paid $20 for a meal that is so small it should be an appetizer. No rice at all in the container and two pieces of chicken. Also they seem to have forgotten to take off the peel on the onions. Called the store several times and no one seems to be answering! Won’t even be ordering from here again. Absolutely a ripoff!

This place was so chill and their food is some of the best I have had in a long time. My son had the Gyro and chicken plate with fries and rice and I had the Vegetarian Platter with Hummus, Dolma, Falafel, Babaghanoush (sp?) and a small greek salad. Everything was fresh and well presented and the service was on point. Not too fussy but they kept the fresh pita bread coming!

I’ve given this restaurant multiple chances, but this last visit confirmed I’m done. On a previous visit, I ordered the mixed grill plate and it came out raw. I let the waiter know, and his response was simply, “Sorry, will do better next time.” No attempt to remake the food or fix the issue. I let it slide at the time, thinking maybe they were short-staffed. But what happened this visit is what really pushed me to write this review. We were charged 18% gratuity without being informed. I’ve eaten here many times and this has NEVER been a thing. When I asked the waitress, her explanation was, “Oh, it’s normal. Customers always leave a tip so sometimes we add it.” That makes absolutely no sense. I told her customers decide if they want to leave a tip not you She replied that she adds it because “it’s easier for the customers,” which honestly felt extremely dishonest. To automatically charge gratuity for VERY poor service, with no notice, is unacceptable. Between the raw food incident and now this sneaky gratuity charge, I’m officially done with this place.

Sleeper pick for one of the best restaurants in Austin! The atmosphere is casual but makes it the best place to bring friends and family. My boyfriend and I go regularly and tell everyone it is one of our favorite restaurants. We’ve also ordered takeout before and it was excellent! Phoenicia, keep doing what you’re doing! We will keep coming back!
