A+ private outing with Bruce. It’s hard to overstate how valuable it is to have a one-on-one mentor in the field. There’s always something to learn, and Bruce shared a ton of practical tips I use every time I shoot now. He picked me up and we hiked to a remote Mt. Tam spot to catch an epic sunrise as the fog rolled in. Later, we dropped into the foggy forest and shot in a completely different environment—each scene was a hands-on lesson. Bruce’s coaching through multiple shooting situations leveled up my photography. It was an incredible learning experience and just a great day out. Highly recommend for both beginners and experienced photographers.
Spent a sunrise and a morning with Bruce. The goal was to hit as many iconic SF locations we could in 4 hrs. Bruce navigated the city like the pro that he is, and helped with the fine-tuning for the exact locations and compositions. As a result, with his expertise, I was able to get many excellent photos, some which will hopefully make it to print for my office wall. Bruce is a true professional and a great guy. This made the tour truly enjoyable. Bruce comes highly recommended!
Bruce and Kirit were very amicable and professional on a recent private photography excursion I booked for my family. They were prompt and knew all of the best locations in San Francisco to achieve the desired pictures I wanted. Their knowledge of correct camera settings, light management and composition was spot on. I would highly recommend Bruce for any private tours of San Francisco.
Get your hiking boots ready for some real adventure and take a workshop with Bruce Getty. He can take you were you can get jaw dropping epic shots of the Bay Area. Bruce is an excellent teacher and very passionate about photography. Keep in mind that the location he may take you to will require some physical endurance and fearlessness, but the photos that you walk away with makes it all worth it.
I had two great half days venturing around the Bay Area with Bruce, covering sunrise long exposure photography. You'll get to see some great unexpected spots, (especially if you're willing to be brave and do some pre-sunrise hiking) and be given plenty of tips and techniques. I was lucky enough to have a play with the new Lee Filters ProGlass and enjoyed chasing the Fog. If you're looking to learn about Long Exposure and would like to be taught by someone with a bit of character, Bruce is your guy.
