Ms. YeLena is the best piano tutor in Orange County / Placentia because she combines deep musical expertise with a truly personalized teaching approach. She tailors every lesson to her students’ goals and learning styles, helping them build strong technique while still enjoying the music they love. Her patience, encouragement, and clear instruction make even challenging pieces feel achievable and fun. Most importantly, her students don’t just learn to play the piano—they gain confidence, discipline, and a lifelong appreciation for music.

I’ve been taking piano lessons in Orange County at Placentia Piano Studio from Ms Yelena for 2 years. I decided at the ripe ole age of age 70 that I wanted to do something I’ve always wanted to do, learn to play the piano. I’ve never had any formal musical training and couldn't read a musical note if my life depended on it. Yet, in spite of my musical handicap, Yelena's patience, creativity, intuitive teaching techniques coupled with her ability to adapt her professional teaching abilities to match my personal learning style, I was able to play Christmas music in less than 6 months! Her encouragement, humor and determination helped create positive and successful piano lesson experiences and has inspired me to continue taking piano lessons from Yelena. Im so happy I chose Placentia Piano Studio!

We' ve been taking piano lessons at Placentia Piano studio for 5 years. My son never told me he wanted to stop his lessons. 😊 He enjoys the repertoire, Ms. Yelena chose for him and surprisingly practices daily. Ms. Yelena is one of the best piano teachers in Orange County. Her students participated in many music events, such as Certificate of merit, National Guilt, festivals, community outreach recitals, students' concerts, and competitions. For the last 3 years, several of them won prestigious international piano competitions and performed at the most famous stages, such as Carnegie Hall in New York and Walt Disney Hall in Los Angeles. I highly recommend Ms.Yelena if you are looking for a teacher with many years of experience, passion for her work, and love for her students.
