To get this out of the way, their customer service receives 5 out of 5. We were disappointed with the cake but they compensated us so I sincerely appreciate that. The cake though is not what I expected for the price point. The decoration was overly simple and almost looked unfinished. The cake per my husband (the birthday boy/man) was crumbly, even the buttercream and was a little too sweet for his taste. I know there is a ton of different cake textures as I do home baking, due to allergies, so this may have been intentional but it came off as they made the cake too far in advance and it began to dry out. Overall, there was nothing that warranted less stars but nothing that made the cake stand out. Again, I appreciate your team working with my brother-in-law to remedy the situation.
