Was introduced to the monks living here by The Owner of Todays Market in Oakmont and the residential monks are some of the most Authentic and most truly compassionate and genuine practice what they preach type of practitioners and it’s an honor to have been helped by them. Thank you to Carrie for introducing my family to them:)!

As a Buddhist hailing from Sri Lanka this is our go-to place to worship and practice our religion. But I'm keeping my review unbiased. Residing monks are very helpful in giving valuable advice for life and their tremendous efforts on celebrating traditional ceremonies in Sri Lanka(new years and poya days upon full moon in lunar calendar) is grately apparciated. Anybody, from any corner in the world is always welcome. If you visit on a Monthly program you can see its like a "mini United nation assembly" . Its a great place to visit and the surroundings are amazing and serene.

The monks here are great at working with people who are new to Buddhism and meditating. They accept people of all religions. The head monk is working on a PhD in religious studies. The center is actually a converted house and the driveway is somewhat hidden - easy to miss it your first time around. The guided meditation here focuses on loving kindness and is lead by a monk well trained in the various stages of meditation
