I contacted Pivot Tutors last February to help my son with physics, on his senior year in high school. Thanks to them, he was able to go from a D to a B in a short period of time, but most importantly, he was able to understand the subject. They were flexible and let my son try a couple of tutors until he found a good match for him. We were always able to book a session when needed, either to finish an assignment or in preparation for a test. I highly recommend Pivot Tutors to anyone needing support at school. Their team is outstanding. They are responsive, polite, and accommodating, and their tutors are great!
We have had a great experience using Pivot for helping our daughter with her accelerated math class this year. Not only was she helped with understanding the math concepts but also her self esteem and confidence grew exponentially. If we had only utilized them for math this would be a five star review, however, we also tried to utilize them for help with phonics building which did not work out as well. The tutor just didn’t understand what we were striving for and after two sessions we had to pull the plug. The sessions are not inexpensive, but if your child clicks with way the tutor explains things then it is definitely worth the cost.
Pivot Tutors was a great experience for my son, providing valuable support for his AP and other classes as needed. Both my son and my daughter have now worked with Pivot tutors. They are very professional, open and skilled. Both our kids increased their confidence and for my son with his ACT, he felt very prepared. All tutors we worked with were excellent.
Pivot has been super helpful in my journey of studying for the ACT this year. Both of my tutors have done an amazing job teaching me all of the best strategies and tools, and have each adapted their teaching styles to my preferred ways of learning. This has aided me to see significant (2-10 point) improvements on all of my test scores after only 2 months.
