This place is like a second home to me, many people say that but it really does feel like it. I’ve done two of my previous solos here and am working on a third, and both missy and Andrew always made me feel comfortable throughout the process. Highly recommend.
Incredibly Disappointing Experience – Unacceptable Business Practices My girlfriend (a dancer visiting from the UK) and I were excited to share a fun experience together and booked what we thought was a straightforward one-hour dance lesson. The listed price was $40 total for the two of us — $20 per person — which seemed totally reasonable. We were wrong. Upon arrival, we were told about a $25 “new person” fee — despite this being booked as a one-time drop-in class. That brought the total to $65. A little frustrating, but we decided to go with it. We took the class (a hip-hop session), which was actually excellent — major credit to the instructor, who was super talented and engaging. Then, as we were leaving, the front desk dropped the final surprise: the $25 new person fee was per person, not per couple. So the total shot up to $90 for a single one-hour class. That’s $45 per person for a first-time visit — with no clear warning of that cost anywhere during the booking process. Nothing upfront on the website via the payment portal, no transparent breakdown before payment from normal UI interaction. The one time payment fee IS LISTED but only under a separate registration page — just a financial bait-and-switch that feels extremely predatory. Bottom line: • The instruction was great. • The pricing scheme is deeply misleading. • If $45/person is your first-time rate, say that clearly — not in fine print or post-fact at the front desk And it should be automatically taken care of in the payment portal • This is a great class being tarnished by very poor business ethics
I love having my daughter take classes with this company. The classes for the children are great. The dance instructors are so amazing with the kids. The beginner adult classes are fun and are the right amount of challenge for me.
Planet Dance is by far the best place to train and feel at home while enjoying your art. I started coming here 4-5 years ago just for their workshops and I am now a full time pre-professional student for my 3rd year. Everyone is so accepting of who you are and how you create art. The owners, Missy and Andrew Hubbard are probably the best part about coming to this studio. They are the most kind, welcoming, huge hearted people I have ever met. They take every single kid that walks through Planet's doors under their wing and I am so honored to call them my teachers. Planet Dance is truly the best place to go to learn dance, find a community, and continue making art.
Planet Dance is Cincinnati's BEST dance studio. My daughter has been taking classes for the past 4 years. She's grown tremendously and feels at home in the studio. Planet Dance offers classes for beginners through Adults. The environment is beyond positive and focused on individual growth and development of each student.
