I had such a great experience at The Plant House in Virginia Beach! A friend and I attended one of their terrarium ornament-making classes, and it was so much fun, relaxing, creative, and the perfect little outing. I loved that they offered beverages during the class, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic, which made the experience feel extra thoughtful and elevated. The staff was incredibly knowledgeable about plants and took the time to answer questions without rushing anyone. Their selection of plants and pottery is excellent. After the class, I couldn’t resist and ended up purchasing three plants. The staff gave me so much helpful information on how to properly care for each one, which made me feel confident bringing them home. One of the best perks was that with the purchase of a plant and pot, they’ll repot it for you. Two of my plants were repotted on the spot, which was amazing and all I had to do when I got home was place them where I wanted. Overall, it was such a fun, welcoming experience, and I love that they offer other classes too, like candle making. I’ll definitely be back and highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a unique activity, beautiful plants, and great customer service.

Love this store! Great energy and staff. They have nice options for plants and pots and they even host classes there.. I plan to attend Ike in the near future. Second time visiting this location with no complaints.

This was such a beautiful place. It wasn’t too crowded and three staff members on duty. The staff was very helpful and walked me through the process since this was my first time building a terrarium. Great vibe if you were seeking a solo project (like me) or as a group effort. Either way, I would like to return again but I’ll see if I can keep my new plants alive first. 🙂

We had no idea this place existed until we ran across it, searching for local classes. All I can say is WOW! What an absolute vibe. From the music to the environment to the plants and decor… magical! The prices were surprisingly reasonable and the staff were super friendly and helpful. We can’t wait to come back.

Great date night option. My wife and I were in for the jelly fish terrarium class and had lots of fun. They offered a couple different sizes, a variety of options for what you could put in the terrarium(at no additional cost). The employees were helpful and polite. I think it was great price for each one. The only down side is that each person had to have their own, so we had to buy two. They turned out great though, I would definitely recommend for a date night or a group outing.
