Plants & Planters by Secret Gardens has very quickly become our favorite nursery in North Dallas. The owner, Phil, is very knowledgeable on his plants and was able to offer great recommendations to us on how to lay them out at our home. His consultation to us takes the experience up a notch from other places that “just sell plants” and his passion for the business is very apparent. We came back this year for a Christmas tree and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the trees. But what really blew us away was the season decoration of the place - it felt like a Christmas escape and quickly put us in the holiday spirit. We walked around longer just to take in the holiday vibe and enjoy the decorations. (See attached pics we took there.) High quality, knowledgeable staff, ownership on site and beautiful layout of all the stock and accessories.
A darling place with amazing staff and beautiful plants, planters, and more! This is a longtime gem of Richardson! If you love plants and everything in-between this is a place you must visit!
What a lovely plant shop! Knowledgeable and friendly staff. Great selection of outdoor plants, a greenhouse full of indoor plants to choose from plus a wide variety of ceramic pots. I even got to meet Sugar who is incredibly sweet and LOVES belly rubs.
Best hidden secret in Richardson! Now that I have e adequate time to properly review this place, WOW. I've lived in Richardson my entire life and have never been inside here. This garden center is neat, tidy, well stocked with high quality plants and plant care products. Whether you're looking for landscaping or rare houseplants, this is your spot! I will say everything is definitely on the pricier side but I'm not mad about it. Every plant is exceptionally happy and all the planters are heavy duty and high quality. You are 100% getting what you pay for. That's not to say prices are unreasonable. They are not. We picked up a "14 San Pedro cactus in a 6" pot and a HUGE Philodendron Ring of Fire for less than $70. I'll include photos. The staff was helpful but never overbearing. We will definitely be back for future plant purchases. Plants & Planters is a winner if you want to be successful with your plant care journey!
This is one of the best plant shops around! They have a beautiful green house and outdoor selection, two beautiful cats named Cinnamon and Sugar, and the sweetest people who work here that I love seeing every time. One of my favorite plant shops to visit as a plant parent. Love you guys!
