Had an estimator out on 8/20/2025 who was very knowledgeable and thorough and spent a long time discussing our Victorian, then never got an estimate. Very weird. Followed up by email 3 times no reply as of 9/24/25.

Platypus was wonderful. Estimator was extremely knowledgeable and had helpful suggestions. We appreciated how thoughtful the crew was throughout the entire process and how tidy they were on-site. We had some dry rot repaired and I honestly cannot tell where the spot use to be...looks perfect! We are very happy with the results and would hire Platypus again in a heartbeat.

I can't say enough about how pleased we are with Platypus painting. We hired them to paint our small 130 year old Victorian home. The finished product far exceeded our expectations! I couldn't have asked for a more friendly and well organized crew. You could tell they like their work and take pride in their craft. I learned a lot about what goes into painting an old house just by watching them. From the Big boss to the guys doing all the sanding and scraping, everyone was professional and courteous. They showed up each morning on time and always left the work site cleaner than when they started. From beginning to end, the detail that they put into every step of the process, from the prep work to the final touch-ups was impressive. Luis, the onsite the Foreman, was outstanding. He kept us in the loop about everything that was going on and took care of any special requests we had. Gonzalo and Renaldo were super nice and hard working as well. Last but not least, Paul the estimator, he was excellent. We probably drove him crazy with all our questions and phone calls..Nevertheless he worked with us all the way and took care of everything we wanted Thanks Paul Again, we were absolutely amazed at how good our home painting project turned out thanks to Platypus and their talented painters. Expensive, but was worth every penny. I whole heartly recommend Platypus Painting and all the employees we came in contact with. They are good people and they did an outstanding job for us. Definitely 5 stars!

We hired Platypus Painting to paint part of our house exterior and all the trim. They did a fantastic job! Their people were on time, good communicators, and left their work area neat and clean at the end of each day. They were responsive and prompt about coming back to take care of some little follow-up things. We are very happy with the job and would definitely use them again.
