This is in my top three favorite Mexican restaurants in Portland. I love everything about Plaza Coyoacan - starting with their owner Leticia who is such a gem and is originally from Coyoacan! Their sopes were some of the best I’ve had in the U.S. and their salsas have a serious kick! I’m not the biggest fan of mole poblano but their rendition is very good and provides much more subtle sweetness. Finally they serve my favorite beer - Victoria. If I could eat here everyday I would.

this place is great.. everything was so fresh & light but DELICIOUS! cannot wait to come back and try more of the menu. enchiladas were so good. the outdoor patio is covered for rainy nights with lots of tables and a great vibe. service was insanely fast! I’ve lived in the southwest (AZ & CA) my whole life & moved to Portland this summer.. finding good Mexican food was my only worry but boy this is IT!

Try the quesabirria, very filling. Tacos were excellent, asada was my favorite. The pambazo sandwich was an amazing experience. Try the chilequiles for breakfast. Plenty of seating including a covered patio and some seating inside. The mural in the back was a nice touch Quick service excellent food. Fresh high quality ingredients

A gorgeous visit from start to finish. Food was fresh and flavorful, ambience was cool and colorful, and the service was so warm and friendly. After a small kitchen mix-up the staff went beyond to make sure I had a great experience. I wish I lived here so I could come back!!
