An excellent place to see mature California plants, or just to take a nice stroll.
Was cute and quiet. More of a neighborhood spot for locals and not a tourist destination. We enjoyed ourselves :)
I volunteered for community cleanup hours here last Sunday with Shane from SD River & Parks Association and it’s a very nice well maintained botanical garden I don’t know much about biological diversity but there’s cool little signs to teach you about the various species of plants throughout and park it’s kinda overlooking the highway a bit but there’s some nice benches you can sit and watch the bustle of life go by while learning about the native ecology of Pt Loma & San Diego in general and like I said they do community cleanup every Sunday it’s well maintained so I recommend visiting this quaint little park! 5 ⭐️
Beautiful little hidden garden. More people should know about this place. Lovely display of native flowers, trees, cacti, etc., and all publicly funded along with the help of volunteers.
Wow, a little slice of nature heaven in a residential area. My daughter and I arrived around 3p.m. and spent about 1 1/2 hour's. All native plants and tree's with identified information. Poppies were blooming and the fragrance of nature was wonderful. A super clean park and a number of paths to meander. Very few people at this week day time. Only one negative as we were exiting I just missed stepping in dog ----. Come on people the park provides bags to clean up your dogs waste, why not try next time? I cleaned it up my good deed for the day, haha.
