Tasha is my 18th month old Samoyed. I was looking for someone who knew how to groom a double coat dog and was knowledgeable and had experience with this breed. When I went to pick up Tasha, I was so pleased. She looked so amazing and her fur felt like one. She was cleaned up very nicely and was in excellent spirits. I will definitely be returning to have Pratt and paws groom Tasha.
Took Rice to Pratts for the first time today, and she loved it! Pratiksha did a great job with grooming, making Rice extra cute and fluffy. Needless to say I'll be coming back to her regularly.
Where to start with this wonderful human being! Prats has groomed our 1 year old Havanese, Argyle, 4 times already. When I first brought Argyle to Prats, we believe he had had a bad experience at another local place, bad enough that he was being aggressive. Since he has been going to grooming since he was 8 weeks old, this was not normal. This is not an aggressive dog AT ALL, so I was highly concerned. I brought Argyle to Prats, having advised her prior about what was going on, and she agreed to try. The first session was brutal - in the sense that Argyle was not cooperative and did “go” for her a couple of times. I stayed through the whole thing to help, and try and keep him calm., but Prats was really the hero of the day, persevering with kindness, patience, and obvious experience and skill as she was able to get him groomed (although we both came out with a few war wounds.) I brought him back 3 weeks later for a bath and tidy as I wanted to keep working on this. The second time he was already better - especially with her - she had already begun to gain his trust. The third time I left halfway through as things were going really well and this last time I just left him, and he was fine. Prats demonstrated such patience and skill, and really helped alleviate my stress and worry that this would be a problem for life. Argyle trusts her now to the point that he won’t let me try and groom his face, but will let her no problem. She made this whole ordeal an amazing experience, and she is so good with Argyle - I highly recommend her. She helped turn a bad experience around, and I will follow her anywhere! And Argyle looks beautiful!!!
Have been taking Gus (1 year old bernedoodle) to Pratts since he was a puppy. Gus absolutely loves Pratiksha and always is excited to go in (doesn’t even look back). Pratiksha does a wonderful job with what we ask of her and will provide updates during the groom as needed. I highly recommend her work to anyone who asks where we get Gus groomed on our walks around downtown! She is also very knowledgeable regarding ear infections and has diagnosed Gus one time for us which our vet confirmed so we could start him on his treatment. I will continue to use Pratts and Paws as long as we are living in the downtown core.
