This is one of those nail salons that as soon as you sit down they want to hurry you up to get out. They also want to charge you an outrageous price for every little single add on then when you you voice you are not happy with your nails and they are not at all what you asked for (they would know if they weren’t in a rush) they make it obvious they do not care to try to fix them and still expect you to pay full price and leave a tip. This place has deterred me from all nail salons at this point and just am going to learn how to do them myself.

I don’t think I’m going to be returning. Back in 2023, I got a manicure from the younger guy. I don’t get manicures often, but I knew I was getting proposed to, so I wanted to do it for my engagement. When he was clipping my cuticles, he clipped too deep. I bled a lot, and his solution was nail glue. His stress was clear and that made mine worse. I wish I could’ve just left right away and avoided the nail glue altogether. My service ended up being free, and same with my redo when that acrylic nail inevitably fell off due to him not being able to properly work on that finger. Between that experience and now, I have had great pedicures here, and a really fantastic french tip set from the older gentlemen here. I decided to get another french tip set for my wedding, so I came in last Thursday. I had called a week or two prior and asked to have someone “experienced” because this was for my wedding. They ended up putting me with the younger gentleman. I didn’t leave bleeding this time. Small victories. I’ll take it. But it still wasn’t good. He struggled to match the color of my nail bed (the “pink” part) to the image I showed him. The image was of the set I had received from the older gentlemen, so I know it would have been a color they had in the salon. He had to redo the color twice. I ended up settling on a color that, no, still was not correct. But it was at least better. I just think if a customer calls and asks for someone experienced, especially if it’s for their wedding, maybe you should put them with someone else in the future. He’s very kind, I feel bad, but I’ve just never been happy with his results. (First image is my nail after his nail glued the wound. Second picture is after I nursed the wound for a good hour to get the glue off and get the wound clean.)
