About a year ago, my son Aditya, started taking piano lessons at PMI, and it has been delightful to observe his progress and developing love for music. Dr. Noreia is a truly exceptional teacher, recognized for her compassion and dedication. Her calm and composed demeanor and systematic teaching approach make her an ideal instructor for children. My son eagerly looks forward for his lessons.
Our daughter wanted to begin learning the piano and we decided to go with PMI based on the reviews. She has been studying under Ms. Candace Bawcombe for about half a year and we have been absolutely pleased with the progress our daughter has shown and Ms. Candace's guidance and teaching. This is a very well ran institution with instructors who truly care about their students' love and appreciation for music and not just playing the right notes.
I had an amazing time learning professional vocal techniques at this school, especially with my amazing instructor, Ethan Kim. He is not only a talented opera singer with a fantastic voice, but also a patient and passionate instructor who truly cares about his students. He taught me so much and helped me improve my vocal skills, stage performance, and acting. He encouraged and supported me to step onto the stage, challenge myself, and prepare for singing the touching song “I Dreamed a Dream” from Les Misérables. This was definitely an unforgettable experience for me as a passionate music lover who still has a dream for music as an adult. I also received a lot of encouragement from the staff and Dr. Li. They all created a welcoming and supportive environment for me to grow and pursue my dreams. Huge thanks to all of you!
We have had a wonderful experience with PMI and our daughter’s piano teacher, Dr. Noreia. Our daughter has been learning piano for just over a year, and the growth we’ve seen—both musically and in her confidence—has been amazing. Dr. Noreia is an exceptional teacher. She is incredibly compassionate and teaches with so much patience, love, and encouragement. At the same time, she is very methodical and always knows exactly where to focus to help our daughter improve. Her ability to balance warmth with clear, effective instruction is a big reason why my daughter truly loves playing the piano and is excited to continue learning. PMI as a school is equally impressive. The organization is top-notch, and the staff is always quick to respond and very accommodating. The quarterly recitals they organize have been a lot of fun and a great experience for the students. Our daughter has participated in two recitals so far—she did wonderfully in her own performances and also really enjoyed listening to the other students play. We are so grateful to Dr. Noreia and PMI for creating such a positive, supportive, and inspiring learning environment. Highly recommend!
We are so happy to have found PMI and are especially grateful to Dr. Joseph Henry for teaching our son and daughter piano. They were previously enrolled at a different school where not only were they not progressing in their skills, but more concerning, they were beginning to dislike piano altogether. This was largely due to a very strict teaching style and a negative approach to instruction. After sharing our concerns with the staff at PMI, we were paired with Dr. Henry, and the change has been remarkable. Both of our children now genuinely enjoy piano again, and their skills, technique, and musical artistry have improved significantly. We truly appreciate Dr. Henry’s encouraging and thoughtful approach and look forward to seeing our children continue to grow musically under his guidance.
