The 8-week EMT course was incredible. There was a perfect blend of lectures with hands-on skills practice. The part I enjoyed most and also found the most helpful were the real-world hands-on scenarios and our trauma day. Put simply, these allowed me to piece together all of the information into a concise action plan when considering patient treatment options. Jessica, Brian, Angelic, Stetson, Jaymin, Emma, and Drew were incredibly open and supportive to help our class understand the material inside and out. All I can say that if you want to truly understand the material and be able to apply it to patient care, this is the program for you.
I took the accelerated 5 week EMTB and it was easily a 10/10. Incredible instructors and a school environment that forces you to learn (in a good way). Drew, Emma, Stetson, Jaymin and Jess were all incredibly patient with my class. They took time out of their nights to make sure we didn’t leave uncertain about any part of human anatomy or emt concepts which helped many, including myself, succeed in the class. Bryan is also an incredible director/instructor. He has the answers to ultimately everything and stories that helped us put the concepts from the book into a real life perspective. I highly recommend PHB to any and all people looking to get your EMTB and get toughened up a little bit.
This place is AMAZING. If you want to get your EMT class done in less time with amazing instructors then you have come to the right place. A little bit about me, I am a certified EMT who did an 8 week program with Project Heartbeat. The instructors were there with me every step of the way and answered all my questions and even offered to help me outside of class time to get more practice! I passed the class first try and NREMT first try! If you keep your head down and study then you will breeze through this class. I hope you have fun like I did when joining Project heartbeat!!!🔥🔥🔥
PHB 42! I loved my experience with my group and the PHB crew. It is fast paced but surprisingly easy to get through as long as you’re up for it. Great real life EMT scenarios, and testing was always very straight forward. If you put in the time this is a great course with great teachers. I passed this course last year and will be in Fire Academy soon. Thanks PHB and good luck to future EMT cadets!
The program is as it says. 2.5, 5 week, 8 week. If you are not motivated and dont know how to study at home, this may not be for you. I took the 5 week and was able to pass the NREMT in 30 minutes at 70. The instructors can be rough around the edges and they wont sugarcoat, but they are passionate. Listen, don’t get butt hurt, dont throw your classmates under, and trust the process. If I could take this class again I would. Thank you Angelic, Brian, and Jess. Thank you to all the other instructors as well. PHB50
