Starting PT at pro kinetix is one of the best investments I’ve made. Dr. Katrina has been amazing in helping me getting back to lifting and relieving pain from a herniated disc in my lower back. My form has improved tremendously since. I’m grateful for her and would recommend her to anyone!
After 2+ years of dealing with back pain stemming from my job as a landscape professional, I reached out to Pro+Kinetix for help. I received fantastic care and guidance from Dr. Kassina. She took time to understand my injury and my personal goals for recovery. She created a personalized training program for me focusing on strengthening and flexibility, and supplemented that with cupping and massage. Starting with the very first session, my pain began to decrease and I saw steady improvement with each week. In addition to stretching and exercises, Dr. Kassina took time to educate me on how the back works, allowing me to better care for myself in the future. I would highly recommend Pro+Kinetix - it's a clean, inviting space with many high level professionals to assist you with your injury or fitness goals. My only regret is that I had not come to Pro+Kinetix sooner! Thank you Dr. Kassina & Pro+Kinetix!!
I had a great experience working with Dr. Michael. I was training for the NYC marathon and about 2-3 months before I started to develop a lot of tendinitis issues that I couldn’t really pinpoint or get rid of on my own. I met with Dr. Michael and we came up with a plan to get me to my goal, which was to get to the start line pain free and ready to run. It was great to check in weekly with someone to give updates on where my pain was and to get exercises and feedback on how to adjust my training each week. I felt like I had a guide leading me to my goal. I was able to complete the marathon without any issues and I had a great partner coaching me on from the sidelines. I felt really supported and that was the bonus to my tendonitis easing up.
We went to Pro+Kinetix for help with my daughter’s sports injury. She’s 15 years old, a soccer player, and had been suffering from Achille’s tendonitis. It was interrupting her playing and self-care using treatments that we found on the internet were not helping. It took forever to get a PT appointment through Kaiser, so in desperation we found Pro+Kinetix through their great online reviews. They were able to get us in for an appointment the day after we called and my daughter started her treatment journey at that point (about two months ago). She worked with Dr. Jose. I asked my daughter for her own summary of the experience working with him, shared in just a few sentences. Here’s what she said: “He was very professional. He had a game plan and was realistic about what we could expect in terms of progress and timing. Every week he set concrete goals for me to achieve, which helped with my confidence and morale as I saw my progress. He was easy to talk to and ask questions.” She also mentioned that the facility had a good feeling. Not like the Kaiser PT facility, where she eventually was able to be seen for what turned out to be a second (corroborating) opinion. The Pro+Kinetics space is set up much like a very well-equipped gym, with specialized equipment and people who seem like athletes working with personal trainers. It was a good environment for our student athlete, a place where she felt comfortable and fit in. As a parent, I appreciated that the plan Dr. Jose laid out from the beginning was pretty much exactly how things went. My daughter progressed, and though recovering from tendonitis takes time and that can be frustrating, I saw her confidence in Dr. Jose’s feedback grow over time. She took her questions about pain levels (safe to play through vs. time to sit out) to him and his feedback has helped guide her as she has started returning to play. I am grateful that Pro+Kinetix and Dr. Jose were there as a resource for us when we needed them and would recommend them, especially for athletes working through injuries.
I’ve been paying out of pocket for Pro Kinetix because they said all the right things — and they’ve absolutely delivered. This isn’t your standard “insurance PT” experience where you get 10 minutes with a therapist and then a printout of stretches. The team here actually works with you on accessory work, strength development, and your specific goals — not just symptom management. They’ve focused on getting me truly pain free and back to doing the things I love: full-time gym training and snowboarding. Every session feels purposeful, with real progress each week. The coaching, programming, and attention to detail are at a completely different level. If you’re an active person who wants to not only recover but come back stronger, Pro Kinetix is 100% worth it. Paying out of service has been more than justified by the results and the quality of care.
