Very cute book shop. Whimsical & just a nice breath of fresh air in a society worried about boring beige aesthetics. All types of genres and a couple signed copies of books here and there! FYI Bathrooms available for patrons by asking for a key both upstairs and downstairs. Bathrooms are single bathrooms no stalls.

The best book store in Kansas City hands down. I could spend all day here. It’s unique and one of a kind. Never know what you’re going to find. The creaky floors feel like home.

This is a truly unique and quaint bookstore! I love the plexiglass over the holes in the wall showcasing items 😍 I especially love the antique sliding ladders! Prices are very reasonable and it's definitely worth it to come back often because there's too much to look at in one visit. The selection of books here is incredible!

Fun elevated stunning used bookstore. The selection is quite large and has a basement and two levels. You should be able to find some high quality used books at this location. I was able to snag a beautiful vintage cookbook about wine. The prices are what you would expect for used of the highest selection. The storage in an old building which shows it character all throughout and if you do not pay attention you may miss some of the Easter eggs that are floating among. The one I quite enjoyed was in the stairwell as she head to the second floor to your right. I've included some photos. It's worth a stop to shop.

Photos do not do this place justice. 3 floors of absolute floor to ceiling books. New, used, vintage, all genres and interested covered. The store alone has such a fun and cool vibe to it, I’d recommend walking through just to see the use of the space. They also have a rolling book case ladder, cute little artistic moments, and an upstairs that’s so brightly lit and welcoming. A very loved book store.
