Prytania Vet is very special. They are the most compassionate, competent, professional medical group I have ever worked with, animal or human. They treat your pet like their own. Their patience in explaining issues, offering solutions and being patient with difficult decisions is unmatched. They have cared for all of my pets for 20 years, from kittens to end of life care. I have depended on them for many different situations and wouldn't trust my pets well being to anyone else.
We just established care here for our dog and it was a great experience all the way through! The space is large and very clean, and there is a parking lot. We were greeted upon arrival and everyone was so friendly. Dr. Beeco took amazing care of Mailoh! She was patient, kind, and very transparent about pricing upfront. Shout out to Angel as well who gave Mailoh delicious treats to keep him happy & distracted during his vaccines. Happy we found this place!
Dr Jenn was incredible. Just moved to NOLA and so happy to bring my 2 kitties in. Vet was recommended by a local friend. She went above and beyond and really took a lot of time with my babies. She made me feel like a friend!
I seriously cannot recommend Prytania Vet enough. My boy Huxley is my soul dog, but he’s getting up there in age and I get pretty anxious about any small changes in him. Dr. Matt, Dr. Beeco, and Dr. Ghere have all been so patient with my million questions, requests for tests, and catastrophizing. They all take their time to answer all my questions and don’t seem in a rush to get out of the room and onto the next patient. They’ve definitely alleviated my fears many times.
I have been going to Prytania vet for 25 years. The care there has always been the best, no matter which vet I see. Dr. Ghere has personally seen me through 2 sets of dogs from rescue to end of life. I saw Dr. Baco (sp.?) and Dr. Kevin recently, and they are as wonderful as Dr. Ghere. We’ve gone through a variety of illnesses and surgeries. I wouldn’t go anywhere else. The staff there have all been there for years which says everything about the work environment. Best vets ever.
