I worked with Ryan and Claire, who are both excellent physical therapists. They helped me reduce my pain from daily and debilitating to rare and minor (no longer limiting!). They also taught me what to do to maintain my new strength to prevent/lessen recurrence, and what to do when I do start feeling pain. When I started, I needed to take ibuprofen to get a decent night's sleep, every night! Now I don't need it at all. My condition wasn't from a single specific incident, but was from an accumulation of things over my life, from being mostly sedentary working as a software engineer and being a nerd whose hobbies also don't tend to involve physical activity. Claire and Ryan were able to help me even though my body loves to try to do exercises the "easiest" way possible (and use the wrong muscles in the process), especially when the intended muscle is quite weak! Remember to ask questions and pay attention to where your body is working. Feedback really helps the process. I had done PT in the past for a different issue and at a different place, with no particular improvement -- probably because that place had the PT poke and adjust for ten minutes and then shuffle you off to a trainer person for exercises, and the trainer people apparently didn't make sure I was using the right muscles! PT 360's physical therapists teach you and supervise the exercises themselves.
