Thank you so very much to the team at Pulse. Our girl Penny was booked to see a cardiologist for an EKG, but her condition spiralled before her appointment time and we had to bring her in as an emergency. She was given life saving care immediately and the caring staff got her through her crisis. The Doctors were direct with us throughout, patiently answering the questions I’m sure they’ve been asked a million times before. The reception and nurses put us at ease knowing our girl was in the best place for her. They went the extra mile to keep her company when they could, and substituted with a cardboard cut out of Harry Styles when they couldn’t. Each and every one of you make such a difference in helping people and pets get through these hardships. What you do matters astronomically, and I respect the heck out of you all. A special shout out to Dr. Domenegato - you and your team are phenomenal 💜
I cannot thank the team at Pulse Veterinary Specialists enough. My 10-year-old Boston Terrier, Butch, has a heart condition, and seeing him in distress was terrifying. From the moment we arrived, the care he received was world-class. The doctors were knowledgeable, calm, and thorough in explaining his treatment. The reception and nursing staff were incredible—sending photos and updates in the middle of the night eased my worry immensely. It’s rare to find a team that goes so far above and beyond. You can truly feel they care for each animal as if it were their own. If you ever face an emergency, this is the place to go. Thank you for taking such amazing care of my boy—he’s home and enjoying his retirement!
I have been taking my cat Boo to Pulse over the last two years and have the utmost respect for the entire staff there. My cat suffers from IBS and dental issues which Dr. Cyrus with internal medicine and Dr. Sauve with dentistry dealt with in a timely and caring manner. I am so surprised by some of the poor reviews as I would recommend this amazing facility to anyone I know. My Boo is everything and they treated him and me with the utmost respect and compassion. Truly amazing staff and facility!
I wanted to extend my sincerest thanks to everyone at Pulse, especially the internal medicine and surgery department, for taking such good care of my cat, Ollie. Ollie was in a couple months ago for surgery and extensive after care (feeding tube). It was a bumpy road there for a bit, but I’m so happy to say Ollie is fully recovered and thriving. Our family is back to normal! I’m forever grateful. (Hopefully Dr. Morano and Dr. Cyrus can see this!)
After deciding we couldn't wait for our scheduled appointment, we made the long drive from Winnipeg to see Neurology specialist Dr Casey Smith for our dog, Barley. We had called ahead and let them know we would be arriving in emergency and they had our file and information ready to go. We were triaged quickly, and taken very seriously as they saw our dog collapse several times while getting a weight and when he tried to walk. We came in that morning at 530am and by 330pm the Neuro team had completed a full exam that included blood work and an MRI. After concluding it was a neuro muscular issue, he was given 2 different medications and released after an overnight stay to ensure he was stable. Since our visit and return home the vet is in touch weekly. Our boy has made major improvements and we are so happy that he is able to move better and live a much better quality of life. The cost of care was less than the initial estimate, and worth every single penny. We would not hesitate to bring another pet here or our dog Barley back here if needed. Thank you so much to the incredible team for making sure Barley has a lot more quality time left in his life. And to the really kind staff working at the front that made the inital worry not so worrysome ❤️
