Sam is beyond incredible! Our Golden doodle Oakley was lucky to have joined the puppy power crew for 10 weeks. Oakley learned so much; crate training, manners, recall, confidence, proper socialization with dogs, and all the other things we didn’t see. There are a lot of dog trainers in the KW region all with different training methods, but Sam is truly the best. We couldn’t have gotten through the puppy stage without her! Forever grateful for Sam, Jon and all of the other pups at Puppy Power for making Oakley’s (and ours!) experience so great.

I have been actively mentoring with Sam, and our collaboration is still in progress. In my view, she comes highly recommended for both hands-on dog training and mentorship. Sam possesses a genuine passion and deep understanding of dogs' needs, and she excels at fostering a strong bond between dogs and their people. She wholeheartedly dedicates herself to ensuring that both you and your dog reach your goals successfully. Sam has a variety of services available to those seeking basic training, right up to disc freestyle!

Sam (and Jon) at Puppy Power were fantastic for our little goldendoodle Bamboo. We had him in the boarding/imprinting program for 8 weeks, with trips home on weekends, and it did him absolute wonders. Sam is such a pleasure to work with. She communicates well and you can tell she loves the pups and her job. Bamboo LOVED being there. The property is lush with trails and lots of outdoor space. Sam also posts lots of updates so while we missed having our pup at home; we could still keep updated as he progressed. She worked on practical things with bamboo and gave us exercises and things to work at on the weekends. Even now with bamboo at home, Sam still happily helps troubleshoot little issues/questions here and there with Bamboo whenever we email her. Literally everyone tells us how well behaved he is, and we have to say that his time at Puppy Power set the foundation for that! For any first-time dog owners, or people that would have difficulty tending to a young pup at home (like us), we would highly recommend Puppy Power. Despite it being a 1.5+ hour drive from Toronto/Markham, we would definitely do it all over again. We know bamboo can’t wait to be boarded there in the future while we’re away!

My Pembroke Welsh Corgi puppy just completed her 4 weeks Puppy Imprinting Program. Sam is not like the other dog trainers out there, the difference with her is she understands dog behaviour, she is knowledgeable with that a lot of experience under her belt. Sam's training methods are not harsh, she only uses positive reinforcement. I am very happy with the progress of my Corgi pup, she is off to a great start with the fundamentals. Sam is great to work with she is supportive and always kind. I highly recommend her!

Sam is so responsive and runs her training program so well. We reached out to Sam and we were able to enrol our new pup in the puppy imprinting program for 4 weeks very quickly. We are sooo thrilled we did it for our pup and look forward to practicing everything Sam shared with us. Not only do we walk away with a dedicated training video, we still have access to Sam after the program if we have any questions or need support. We felt that our pup was safe with her and at the facility, as well as with the other dogs in the program. Seeing the frequent updates was also so helpful to see progress in real time. Thank you Sam and Puppy Power!
