Pur Noire is a beautiful place. My first visit was in September 2024, and I had a great experience. It was so great that I joined the wine club. I went back with a few girlfriends on Saturday and our experience was 3/10. I was slightly disappointed because I raved about this place. Upon entering, 2 workers (one male and the other female with braids in the front and curly hair in the back) seemed like they did not want to be at work. We all agreed that our experience felt very rushed and uninviting.
Initially couldn't find validated parking offered. Spent 20 minutes before settling on the nearby garage. Pur Noire was amazing experience! Great to hear also that it is Black Owned. Our server, Basia, was great. 3 people in my party reserved for a Grand Tasting. Basia explained the wines, taught the 5 S's for Tasting Wine. Basia was an exceptional server, which i later learned, was her 1st day. All Grand Tasting wines were delicious. Erion Sauvignon Blanc: zesty with subtle sweetness of apple Doux Flè Blanc: floral and honeysuckle sweet Dorée: pinapple, buttery, oak flavored Anbrasé: jammy dark berries fruits, mocha, figs Erion Merlot: plum, chocolate, black cherry Pur Epiphany: jammy, oak, vanilla, spicy Noire Night Cap: sweet cherry, brandy, oak, vanilla, port style wine
Had a wonderful experience at Pur Noire! Nick made our wine tasting both fun and educational. I couldn’t have asked for a better host. The wines were amazing with a great variety to choose from. I’ll definitely be back to join as a member! A special thank you to Tejada as well for being so welcoming.
I'm always ready to support a black-owned business! They opened the doors and showed out for Juneteenth!! We absolutely loved the wine and soul food pairings they did. The wines were so much better than expected so I will be coming back soon!!
