Been here before the refurbishment, not good not clean, came here Friday 9th after hearing about the refurbishment and can still say the toilets specifically are still not clean, tried flushing the toilet when I came in and nearly flooded the place with sewage everywhere luckily it didn’t over flow as I ran away from it. locker rooms are fine machine wise good selection but big complaint is not enough cables to meet demand and cable attachments couldn’t be found anywhere only ropes no straight bar, V bar or D handles.

I’ve been going to this gym for a few years now, and it’s been a fantastic experience. The trainers are excellent, and the managers, Gary and Chris, do a great job of keeping everything running smoothly. The gym has a wide range of equipment, which makes it easy to mix up workouts. Jordans’ Wednesday morning class and Patricks’ Monday evening class are amazing—they really push you to do better each time. Overall, a great place to train with supportive staff and a motivating atmosphere.

I've been training here since late 2022 and it's been great. I've also been training with one of the PT's Mark. The staff in this gym are great and they've all really helped to keep me motivated during my weight loss journey, especially in the last year where I've made a dedicated push to lose weight. I've lost 24 kilos since the start of 2025 (35 since I started at PureGym) and I couldn't have done it at any other gym. The location is great, however it is a small gym in the city centre and can get a little crowded. They have just got a bunch of new equipment too post renovation. definitely worth checking it out.

I have been going to Puregym for years now. It is such a motivating and welcoming space. The staff are very supportive, helpful and kind. Definitely a gym that keeps you coming back! Highly recommend Jordan’s 7am LIFT class! Jordan is attentive, encouraging, and really makes sure everyone gets the most out of the session.

This is a gem in the city. Very engaging and supportive staff. The Lift, Strength and GLC classes are pure gold. At 62 I’m the oldest in the room but still feel able to keep up. The 7am Wednesday Strength class works you at a rate you’d never do on your own. Easily twice the output in half the time. You gain very quick improvements in mobility and fitness. All for 1990’s prices!!! Shout out to Gary, Jordan, Danny and others for their leadership.
